September Eventh

This was her life for around a decade, when suddenly, the town was blew off the map by a nuclear bomb. While not in town at the time, the blast radius still hit her, and the right side of her body was damaged in the process. Knowing she could've live near nuclear fallout, she was forced to abandon her cabin and move to a new, larger city. The trip over took at least a week, but thankfully, her hunting skills allowed her to live off the land quite easily (though she did skip meals for the first day, in fears of eating an animal heavily exposed to radiation).

Once in this new city, she finds a small apartment to live in, but with limited funds, she needs a job fast. After learning that rebels blew up her old town, she signs up with the human military, despite their racism towards elves. She doesn't mind much, and quickly becomes of use to them as a spy, who can slip right into the rebels' group, claiming that her injury was from a human attack.

During her stay, she learns that a man named "Amos Meritt" drove the plane, and the rebels considered him a hero. Oddly enough, he used to work for the humans as well, referred to as 'Dumbo' by his 'allies,' due to his large (even for elves) ears. But it seemed this man disappeared without a trace after the bomb was dropped.

September continues her life here until a mission goes wrong. Having the intel they need and requiring a quick eradication, the humans hope to blow up the base she was spying on with her in it—but an odd letter floats down to her shortly before the bomb drops, and she is Teleported to Metrianda.

Metrianda

She arrives in an odd new world ruled by dragons, and is quickly appointed Mayor of a small city, much to her confusion. She soon meets another elf from her world working for the same dragon, named Levone, along with her father, Maldreth Matriad, who worked for a different city. They all hit it off, being glad to be able to talk about their homeworld—but unbenownst to September at the time, this 'Maldreth Matriad' was actually the same 'Amos Meritt' who blew up her city and scarred her face.

• She was named 'September' because I thought she was for a September Oneshot, but I later learned it was for October. By that point, the name stuck. I added 'Elle Eventh' as a joke, but people liked it, so that stuck as well.
  • It is not uncommon for her culture to name children after the months they were born in, so it works in canon as well.
  • She was not purposefully named after 9/11 (it was accidental), but it did become her codename once she joined the human army (and they were familiar with the event).
• Her favorite meats are Lamb, Rabbit, and Duck. Her least favorites are Pork, Beef, Lobster, and Crab. She is so-so on Steak.
• She prefers baggy clothing and scarves when casual, but will wear tighter clothing while hunting. Her 'fancy' outfits tend to be East Asian-inspired.
  • She doesn't have her ears pierced, but sometimes wears decorations on the tips of her ears.
• While her repertoire of dishes is rather small, she can make some really delicious meals: mainly things that involve vegetables and rabbit/deer meet. When it comes to bread, fish, and sweeter dishes, she's average at best, simply following recipes instead of experimenting and finding something truly special.
• She fishes on rare occasions, but it's not something she's particularly interested in. She has to be in 'the mood.' It's something she'd potentially like more with a friend, so they can sit and talk while they fish.
