Atramentum (or Atty or Ata to those she's less inclined to punch) is a quiet and wary little creature that seems to be made up of ink and magic and maybe just a few misguided intentions! How she came to be, and more importantly who made her, seem to be unknown, but what is known is that Ryker seems to of taken her in as a sort of magical apprentice, and she takes her job very seriously! Maybe a little too seriously, oh goodness she really does seem to like guarding that house an awful lot, and that's quite a sharp quill sword- oh something might have to be done about this
Despite coming across as cautious and overprotective as a worried mama bear Atty truly does try her best to make sure her family's happy and safe, even if that means chasing off the weekly potion mailmen until they're scrambling over the gates to get away from her. But beneath all of the dramatics and quiet stares Atty's about as insecure as they come, and she's secretly very alarmed by compliments. She's so easily flustered, in fact, that a single compliment will have her blushing up to the tips of her ears and scrambling to hide behind her very serious mask and cloak. Unluckily for her, her cloak is a sentient jerk who loves to flop away when she's trying to hide
Atty is just a funny little creature that loves her pseudo dad and her adoptive big brother and devotes every second of her days to protecting them to thank them for everything they've done for her! She studies hard in magic to make her teacher (definitely not dad) proud of her, and sometimes has a tendency to forget everything else in the path of trying to protect her family. If she stopped for even a second maybe she'd realize that the magic flowing through her inky veins and the suspicious lock on her back might be more important than she thinks they are, but those are problems for future Ata
This fun little gal can be drawn with or without her mask, and has no visible mouth lines unless she's showing off that sharp-toothed grin of hers! Her cloak's eyes can also be looking in any which direction, and the night sky on it has a tendency to change with the weather and time of day!
