axolotlspike was the kit of a shadowclan molly, sableskip, and a riverclan tom, bitterling-gill. sableskip first lived in riverclan, and bitterling-gill fathered sableskip’s kit for her and her shadowclan mate, swallowflutter. sableskip eventually moved to shadowclan to be with swallowflutter, and axolotlspike has lived in shadowclan their whole life, though they sometimes visited riverclan to meet bitterling-gill as their mom’s good friend before he died.
axolotl’s moms were always gentle with them, so when their mentor, lotuscreek, was constantly stern and harsh, axolotl had a hard time adjusting. the stress bore on them and they became a lot ruder and lashed out more, earning them their suffix (as well as for their strength in a battle they were caught in).
after becoming a warrior, axolotl started to notice a lot more the effect they had on people and struggled with having friends in shadowclan. they worked their best to better themself after being so lonely for so long. they do their best now to be as kind as possible.
axolotlspike is a dilute calico cat with long, curly fur. they are on the smaller and skinnier side, and some would even describe their build as still somewhat kit-like. they have dark brown eyes, and their paw pads and nose are pink with dark spots.
axolotl typically has flowers, feathers, stones, and any other pretty thing they can find in their fur until they can bring it home.
- the collection of things in their fur doesnt have to stay the same as in their reference
- also feel free to make the colors of the rocks/feathers/flowers/etc different from pink
- in their apprenticeship, their fur was less taken care of and tended to be a bit spikier
- NOMENCLATURE
- Axolotl named after their paternal grandfather in riverclan, as their moms wanted to allow bitterling-gill to have a part in axolotl’s life.
- Spike chosen for their spiky personality as an apprentice and their abilities shown in a battle they were caught in just before their warrior ceremony.
- axolotl’s nest is surrounded by feathers and sheep fleece, and under it the dirt covers their stash of pretty things like rocks.
- they are asexual, biromantic, and polyamorous.
- axolotl is uninterested in having kits, but if they had a mate who wanted kits theyd probably be open to it.
- they enjoy swimming and have more skill in it than other non-riverclan cats because of their heritage- they have fully webbed paws like most riverclan cats.
- in battle, they havent got very good defense skills, and their typical fighting style is more focuded on attacking back than defending themself.
