Bright Spirit

Naturally a unicorn, Bright Spirit was separated from her family shortly after birth and was raised by a family of red-fire dragons. Feeling distant from her "parents" and wanting to be closer to them, one day she attempted a spell to transform herself into a dragon, but unfortunately, her body couldn't handle the intensity of the spell, with her horn shattering into pieces halfway through. Now a sort of magically-created draquin, with only a rugged scar and small spikes of keratin where her horn once was, Bright Spirit has since reunited with her original family- gaining her cutie mark, a five-petaled flower, in the process.

Due to her transformation into a draquin and near-total loss of her horn, Bright Spirit is able to breathe fire and access other dragon magic, but her unicorn magic completely discharged when her horn shattered.
