Trained in the east for a long time, Lasea Melaina Corby returns to gotham to go to school, but she had always thought of school as boring. While they were out shopping, the Emor clan, an enemy of her mother's clan attacked and killed both her parents. Lasea had expected it to happen but of course, was angry and wanted revenge. She finds help in an unlikely person, the Joker who looks as young as chipper as ever. She easily frames him for the destruction of their clan by tricking him into detonating the bomb.
But she didn't expect her school to close down because her mother had bought off the whole school apparently. She could go back into hiding with the money her parents left her, but bored with it, she remodelled the school into a training ground for herself. Which turned to be a HQ later for the other heroes she will find later. She had gotten the attention of people too but not the justice league as they were long retired, rather the Titans were on their tail.
Surprisingly, she is not one for superheroes and justice, sometimes she is the cause of their problems. The prearerra crew seem to all be anti-heroes, yet heroes at the same time. The police were tired of being toyed around by them and asked the Titans to stop them. Chiro vanished and their troubles were solved, only the old enemies started to come back and it was much worse than the playing ground Chiro set up. It was only until the Joker stepped into Chiro's trap and got his memories and intellect erased did the people finally welcome her back.
She further surprised them by helping Arkham Asylum, by no, not donating money, but actually being the therapist. Many noticed that she is a lot like the Joker in ideals but just with Batman's personality and a slightly better moral compass. Fuku, her Joker seems to be loud and chaotic but close with Chiro herself, even so far to flirt back, Fuku seems to help out Chiro a lot of times as well. She surprisingly knew the law of karma, hence why she staged the turning herself instead of letting Grey do it as seen during SOH: Dimensions. Grey and Chiro are a lot similar like that, only Grey had no choice, while Chiro is well aware there are other ways to do things. But she has always the mindset, if there is an easier route, why not go down that route? Why suffer without reward? Why sacrifice yourself when there are other, better ways?
It is also possible they have fourth wall breaking abilities, that's the only explanation for their nonchalance to the many terrible things that happen... right?
Chiro often trains Kalen's lack of control of his powers, given she was the one who gave it to him. Like Superman, he has naive and pure outlook on life, Chiro often voices that Kalen should maintain that purity no matter what. Chiro of course knew Kalen was angry when it was revealed what she did but he is of course peer pressured but in the end things worked out.
Even Kylia doesn't know her best friend, Lasea is Chiro, though she doesn't like Chiro, she is quite loyal to her because Chiro had always got a plan and while the methods were questionable, Kylia agreed with her that the old ways were too ineffecient. Chiro indulges in chess once in a while, Lasea likes to think she is Kylia's emotional support. She had known her since they were young and didn't know Lasea actually went to the east to train, rather she thought she went there for vacation.
Masato is pretty much always on her side, he may or may not have a crush on her, she cannot tell. Though she finds him quite annoying, he is useful when rounding the team together and also being a distraction, given Kalen always saves him first. But Lasea does talk to Masato and gives him a lot of advice and supervised his studies.
Contrary to popular belief, Nadya actually likes Chiro a lot, despite her methods, she cares about Nadya even if she was a supporting hero, she roots for her a lot. Chiro of course knows being on Nadya's good side was good since she can heal people. Chiro also asks Nadya to teach her magic a lot, which she was happy she asked because no on seemed interested in how her magic was used.
Michelle was the only one who knows who Chiro is given she had mind reading capabilities, she cannot read her mind often as it is not only hard but also always gave Michelle information overload, so much so she sometimes loses her own memory. But Chiro helps her as much as she helps Kalen and the others, they often enjoy their company over a cup of tea.
Chiro is the only one that knows anything about machinery, so she is pretty much close to 2, often giving her upgrades and fixing whatever she broke. Like Kalen, Chiro often trains 2 to control her emotions and strength. 2 didn't understand how Chiro is the bad guy but follows Chiro around often. As she grows however, she knows more and still, she was glad Chiro was on their side.
