Friendly, sociable, and passionate, Hannah is a natural leader. She has a take-charge attitude and works diligently, and enjoys both solving problems and helping others out. Most of the time, she presents a happy face, and she genuinely is an optimistic person on balance. However, she has a short fuse, and her anger tends to be hard to notice until it bursts out. That only makes her anger seem more explosive than it already is, and through her outbursts Hannah has strained relationships and wrecked projects. Hannah is deeply passionate about her areas of interest, investing in her projects to the extent of neglecting her well-being. She can talk for hours about her favorite subjects, bursting with enthusiasm as she does. Though her cheerful attitude draws people in, Hannah has trouble with deep, intimate relationships, pushing them aside in favor of more distant acquaintances. She has trouble keeping the close friends she does make, as she tends to neglect her friendships, to the point of appearing to ghost people. She finds romantic relationships even more terrifying, and prefers to date people she’s already friends with. Hannah’s main interest is astronomy, specifically astrochemistry. Though her formal education has focused on the astronomical aspect of her interest, she collects elements and periodic tables as a hobby, and her room is littered with chemistry books and samples. Through chemistry she has become interested in biology and biochemistry. Combining that with her astronomy passion, she's become interested in astrobiology, and the chemistry required to sustain life beyond Earth. When not deep in her research, she likes swimming, stargazing, and gardening. Among her moms she is closer to Primina than Electra thanks to Primina’s sunny disposition. Primina helps Hannah find joy in life, while Electra helps ground Hannah and helps her focus on her needs. She’s been close to her uncle Newton ever since the two met, though her sisters have always been closer to him. She tries to spend time with her sisters, but too often finds herself overbooked. She remains in touch with her high school friends Cecilia, Nettie, and Octavia, the members of the original LOEL. Another of her closest friends is her college roommate Helga. Those five became Hannah’s invites to the new LOEL. 

Physical Appearance

Short, at 152 cm (5’0). Thin and skinny. Curvy, slight hourglass figure. Round face, one of the many contributing factors to her noticeable baby face. Pale peach skin tone with freckles, one of the largest being on her nose. Large, round light blue eyes (which does not help with the baby face) with short eyelashes. Large, upturned button nose (seriously, most people assume she’s a teenager). Chest-length straight light brown hair with a slight reddish tint. Usually wears loose, comfortable clothing; for warmer weather she’s fond of T-shirts with science jokes on them, and occasionally wears jeans. Her favorite clothing colors are purple, pink, dark blue, and black. She tends to wear sneakers for all but formal events. 

-Don't forget her freckles.

-She has large, wide eyes. I might have exaggerated how babyfaced she is however.

History

When Hannah was ten, she was adopted by Primina Quintero and Electra Li. Primina and Electra would, in the following years, adopt two more children, Destiny and Trinity. As part of a neighborhood expedition, eleven-year-old Hannah met Cecilia for the first time, though they rarely interacted until high school. Also at age eleven, Hannah’s parents took her on a stargazing trip to watch the Geminid meteor shower. Hannah stayed up late to watch the shooting stars, and they captivated her. She decided she wanted to be an astronomer, and promptly began researching everything she could about the universe. A passage in an astronomy book about spectroscopy launched Hannah’s interest in the periodic table and chemistry By age fifteen Hannah’s interest in science had been solidified, and she became known in her high school as the quiet, nerdy kid. Her friends started calling her “Hannah Hydrogen”, prompting her to ask her friends which elements they were. Thus, the first LOEL was born, with Hannah, Cecilia, Nettie, and Octavia as its original members. At UCLA Hannah met her roommate Helga, who shared her passion for astronomy. While Hannah continued on to pursue a more advanced degree, Helga found the college environment stressful and settled for a career at a party center to pay off her student debt. In college, Hannah and Octavia had a brief romance, but broke up because Hannah was spending all her time studying instead of spending it with Octavia. Currently, Hannah is in a program working toward a Ph.D., and is on track to become the youngest member of her program to do so due to having no life and too much study time. On a vacation her parents made her take, Hannah, embarrassed in front of her family, runs off to restart the League of Element Lovers.
