Dove
About
General
Dove and his family are belonging to the alacanis species; rare, winged canine-like creatures that are found in the clouds above the Pelago. These creatures are medium-sized, have long, often tufted tails, and large wings. They sometimes grow horns which are used to fight or simply for status.
Their coats can range from very short fur to long, fluffy fur. Their colours range from light pastels to white.Β
Due to their winged, angelic appearences, alacanis were often looked to with admiration and awe, leading them to become symbols of peace and hope long ago. Nowadays, that image has been marred, as the last remaining alacanis belong to the Featherius royal family, lead by the vain and prideful Queen Perrie who's reputation is less than favourable among the Pelago's terrestrial denizens.

However, his brief trips to the world below often leave him feeling confused and isolated when he struggles to fit in, unable to believe that these terrestrial creatures refuse him any special treatment.Β

Relationships
Kissy
Dove's first meeting with Kissy was unpleasant, with both of them getting off on the wrong paw, er... hoof, and disliking each other. However, when Dove came to the aid of Dollie in a moment of peril, the two made up, and he decided to join the two on their adventure, something he longed for. Ignoring the harsh consequences for disobeying his mother, Dove set out with them on their incredible journey to stop King Clawde Howle.
The two bicker like siblings but have a strong, deep friendship and are always there for each other.
Dollie
Dove had saved Dollie when she and Kissy were involved in a confrontation with a vicious Wolfling, something he wasn't sure why he felt such a strong urge to do. He enjoys taking advantage of the puppy's innocence and naivety and loves to play pranks on her, often facing an angry Kissy when he goes too far and makes her cry. However, should anyone else tease or upset Dollie, Dove quickly becomes protective.
Elisa
Elisa appeared before Dove during one of his excursions to the Rainbow Pelago. Concerned about his lack of compassion towards creatures other than himself, she decided to show him the wonders and complexity of even the smallest being, and how everything has its part in the world and is deserving of respect. Though he wouldn't admit it, Dove took her lessons to heart, and slowly, but surely, began to improve his attitude.Β
Perrie
Dove's mother, and the queen of Nimbus Kingdom, Dove's relationship with his motherΒ 
is incredibly strained due to his reluctance to accept his role as future ruler of Nimbus Kingdom along with his siblings. Perrie expects her son to be devoted and stalwart to upholding their legacy as the beautiful and respected sovereigns of the sky.
Dove hates his mother's constant monitoring of him, and is jealous of his siblings who don't recieve the same scrutiny due to their willingness to lead, driving him to seek out adventure on his own. Despite this desire to be alone, a sense of superiortity instilled in him by his mother is still deep-seated in him, and he tends to lord over others and demand special treatment.
Daisy
Daisy is Dove's younger sister. As pups, they were very close, always playing and sticking by
Β each other, but as they got older Daisy began to show a rude and domineering attitude inherited from her mother, and this irritated Dove who would often be on the recieving end of his sister's orders. Likewise Dove's reluctence to rule annoyed Daisy, convinced her brother would ruin their reputation. The two would argue frequently, their fights having to be broken up by their calmer older brother Cloud.
CloudΒ
Dove's calm, reserved older brother. Respectful, soft-spoken, and an intelligent leader,Β 
Dove both admires and envies Cloud; he's all the things his mother wishes he were.
Despite this, Dove and Cloud generally get along well. His older brother quietly understands his desire to explore and not be chained to one place, even covering for him when Dove returns from one of his many secretive trips down to the Pelago.Β
