Marilasse Inariel

A Wood Elf Ninja from the Northern Forests of Golarion. The heiress, actually, to Family Inariel. Kind of a princess, by human standards.

After the point where my original campaign ended, Marilasse Inariel spent a couple decades or so living as a prisoner of an evil necromancer sorceress, Katarina Tolstov, ruling over the Northern Shores of the continent. After what probably felt like an eternity, Tolstov was taken down by Selene and the rest of her party and Marilasse was freed. The original castle was de-enchanted and destroyed and her rescuers are rebuilding and keeping watch over the Northern Shores themselves now. While Marilasse respects them and is grateful to them, she declined their invitation to help in the rebuilding efforts, wanting to escape all of her horrible memories. She thus set out to the South, searching for the Brotherhood of Sarenrae to return a soul gem she has containing the soul of a paladin/her late boyfriend, a member of the Brotherhood and her original party. Mari's gotten sidetracked a bit, though, by some traveling companions who have since helped her reach that goal and whom she is now questing with. She is soul-bound to a black-scaled half-dragon man, giving them a level of intimacy unheard of for many mortal races. (She may or may not be slightly codependant...)

Finally has a colored ref! Mari probably comes up to about his waist and can easily sit on his shoulder like a parrot, or hide in his shadow to get stealth bonuses.

Mari used to be Chaotic Good, before all of the torture and mistreatment at Tolstov's hands broke her. She's currently True Neutral, though influence from her rescuers/friends and her lizardfolk travel buddy have her leaning closer to Good once again. She does what she wants and she no longer takes anybody's shit. Unfortunately she also no longer has an issue with just ditching people to deal with their own problems if they annoy her. Her voice is badly damaged and she's forced to communicate mostly through telepathy with what severely limited magic she can access - however, she's trying hard to bring her voice back up to strength and practicing speech more and more. She's also been working on getting herself back up to a healthy weight for her race. She dislikes being the center of attention, preferring to watch areas from the shadows and high places where she can't be seen. Elves are generally supposed to be tall - despite this Mari's not taller than about 5 feet. Which is fine, it's easier for her to hide that way XD

Flat-chested and underweight, though improving. Never wears straight-up skirts; prefers unisex tunics or men's clothing, always needs to have leggings or pants or something. Nothing overly colorful beyond shades of green https://www.pinterest.com/nekochankitty/marilasse/
