• - His triplet sister, Sage, was originally an only child, but the idea of adding Laurel and Lavender was spawned by me enjoying the drama of triplet siblings who were all half siblings. Instead of making three new kids, it was easier to add the two, since of all current parents, Cress was most obvious choice to run this plotline with.
• - Laurel is an up and coming performer in Pokemon Showcases. While he loves Pokemon, he's a bit of a pacifist at heart, preferring not to battle them if possible. He manages to gain a small following as a performer, being essentially a junior idol before he goes missing.
