- - The hero of another story, Peyton ends up becoming a mentor of sorts to some of the other characters. He's spent many years traveling the world to grow stronger, and is arguably the strongest of the fankids as a result. A bit of a vagabond, he has multiple experiences in overcoming dangerous situations, chief of which is multiple encounters with violent Ultra Beasts. His experience on how to deal with them proves crucial, as does his strength.
- - Though he does feel strongly for Micah, he ultimately chooses to pursue his goals over remaining in Hoenn with him. They keep in contact and have a sort-of long distance relationship going on. While he'd never admit it to anyone, a part of him does expect that Micah will continue to wait for him and that the two will be able to be together once his journey is finally over.
- - The Peyton of the original "Team Flare Wins AU" is a very different character. In that AU, Wally ends up dying when Team Flare activates the ultimate weapon due to his already questionable health. As a result, Peyton slowly becomes a more angry and vengeful person as he ages, as the family never fully recovers from the death of his mother. Much like his Main Verse counterpart, he travels to grow stronger, but also to search for answers. He ends up learning about Calem and Casimir, blaming Casimir in particular for what happened. After all, it's him coming into existence that ruined his life (he and Hale basically switch temperament and who gets to have significant interactions with Casimir).
