The Angler is a creature that, despite looking very human, shouldn't be underrestimated in terms of power. Being one of the more normal looking Soul Guardians, people don't often catch what kind of person he is when they see him. However, beneath the brim of his hat, lays a goal-focused and stubborn mind, one that seems tireless and eternal.
The Anglers goal, like other Soul Guardians, is to provide a place where souls can rest, until they are ready to pass on, usually meaning reincarnation. He isby no means picky and will take any restless souls with him, but he in particularly gets ivested with souls that seems to have issues concerning a feeling of betrayal. The Angler is in fact very hostile towards people who betrays other's sense of trust and will protect those wounded.

Personality
The Angler is one of the more aggresive and hostile Soul Guardians. Whilst he wouldn't attack anyone and is generally very caring, he does show a temper and can be biased and quick in his decesions. Most of the time, he holds back and doesn't interact with others much, due to a general lack of trust, but if you show genuine care and kindness, as well as openess and honesty, he tends to melt quickly. Once you have his trust, he will help you with all his might, but be warned, if you betray that trust, he might lash out. He can and will bear a grudge forever, unless you are somehow forgiven.

- Isn't affected by temperature shifts in a way that's debilitating.

- Will use Abyssal magic when he feels it is needed. These appear like strange shadow/smoke fish creatures.
- The smoke f ihs pipe changes into simple symols, to help aid what he is trying to communicate, as The Angler doesn't seem to ever speak verbally.

Trivia
- The Angler is quite passive - in general most of his kind is. However for his kind, he is certainly more assertive than most.
- He kinda makes any surface he walks on wet, as his coat and pants drips, like he constantly jsut walked out of the water.
- Really large sudden sounds makes him panic, in part because he has gotten used to the Abyss being very quiet and slow.
Significant Relationships
Gullifer Larhkin
Gullifer doesn't seem all that trustworthy, to be honest, at least if you don't know him well and how he communicates - The Angler doesn't know many other creatures liek them that lives in the Abyss and uses its powers, and so he and Gullifer has crossed paths. In fact... they're kind of friends. Despite what many thinks about Gullifer, he can be calm, soft and thoughtful, sometihng Angler really appreciates. Gullifer respects and is careful around Anglers souls, eve having helped him a couple of times, and for that, Angler is quite grateful. Slowly but surely, they grew closer and now Angler, on his own, sometimes goes to visit Gullifer. Not that Angler actively socializes a lot, he jsut walks over and sits near people, maybe looks aorund, reads a book or lets Gullifer talk. It's a sign of deep trust on his part.
