Personality

Carl is very cheerful and highly energetic. Carl will do his best to make you smile and feel better whenever you're feeling down. He protective of those he loves dearly and he willing to do anything to put others before him

Though he means while most of the time, sometimes Carl disregards others that ends up leading him into trouble. He also has a bad habit of making very impulsive decisions and actions that often come and bite him back. Though Carl likes helping others, he often doesn't take his own care into account and often leads to Carl putting other willbelling over his own.

With Carl being in the war for sometime has been changing within himself for the worse. He seems to be very unusually violent for a man who once sang his heart out to others, and more than ever is hiding how he really feels and sacrificing his own wellbeing.

  • He constantly singing various war time songs and other songs he learns and sometimes makes.
  • He started gaining an interest in singing due to a lullaby he sang to Jim when Jim was having a bad nightmare when he was younger..

Lore

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Carl is the oldest of two other brothers, Lucas and Jim. Carl along with his younger brothers would have to eventually run away from their home of Halifax to Newfoundland.

Carl was thrown in the role of the primary caregiver to Lucas and especially Jim. It was not easy given Carl had to work odd jobs and was only barely making ends meet to have food on the table and a roof over their heads, but one night in an attempt to comfort Jim. He discovered his love of singing and realized if he could learn to sing better, he could make a living through it. Carl slowly got better as he grew up and even did a flew small performances.

Things changed when the great war broke out and with Newfoundland being a domain of Britain, they were at war. Carl and Lucas sign up quickly as they were caught up in the excitement and also saw it as a way to pay back Newfoundland for giving them a new life. Jim however didn’t join and stay behind

Carl and Lucas didn’t see action till September of 1915 when they were sent to Gallipoli 1915. Carl proved he could fight but upon being transferred to the Western front in 1916 and with Jim arriving. Something was off with Carl, He was turning into a=something that didn’t resemble the Carl that was around before the war.
