• Kell has limited-at-best respect for authority, including the authorities he does actually respect.
• Traumatized by Sykes' near death experience in Blackwell, maybe more than Sykes himself is.
• The first to throw fighting words. He's prone to grudges, and will actively provoke people he dislikes.
• Foul-mouthed and ill-tempered, but intensely loyal to anyone who manages to earn his trust.

Skills & Strengths:
• Good at math. In another timeline he just would have been a cool math teacher.
• Very good at both ranged and melee violence.
• Secretly a pretty good violin player (it was a childhood interest)

Weaknesses:
• Absolutely not at all emotionally in touch with himself, a fucking dumpster fire of a man. (Primary example: he has somehow managed to mistake his romantic attraction to John Sykes as Just Being Really Good Bros.)
• Extremely reluctant to apologize for his indiscretions or let go of misplaced anger. He kind of hates feeling wrong more than he hates acting like a jerk.
• His cooler-headed companions end up having to keep him in check all the time, like a bitchy cat at the vet's office.
