Sunbird is a powerful psychic who became something akin to a god, after they were pulled from this world and bound to another "phase" of reality. Their current state of being is... complicated. The place they are in now is transient and only minimally physical, being heavily shaped by thoughts and emotions - more specifically, Sunbird's thoughts and emotions. Though still a person, their consciousness is diffused over a large area, and the location is in some ways a part of them.

Sunbird is lonely, in their apotheosis, and find Taylor good company and an unexpected source of comfort. They... put up with Synapse. The latter's sudden presence in their pocket dimension led them to the former, and they stuck around to offer the obviously lost and shaken Taylor some assistance; they became very close.

Aloof and prone to showing off or fishing for compliments; Sunbird hinges a great deal of their self-worth on whether people find them interesting or admirable. They do believe in what they preach, even if they play it up a little.
