Taylor is (or, at least, was, not sure what's happening there now) a mechanic from a beach town in Delaware who specializes in working on boats. Taylor is also missing five full years of his life, which he spent possessed by a strandling from another universe that just happened to find him before anyone else. Synapse's possession left him with motor nerve damage throughout his body and no-one in his life he could go to for support - the little rat didn't bother maintaining his relationships. Thankfully, someone reached out to her, though not the kind of someone she was expecting - the ghostly Sunbird, who became her closest and only friend.

Taylor is introverted, kind of timid, and terribly non-confrontational - eccentric and a little morbid once they're convinced to open up. They worry a lot about losing more time, and worried about losing control even before the possession. They spent a stint of their childhood in foster care, though they ended up with a permanent placement and their adoptive family is good.

Has OCD. Knows how to play piano and cello. Dresses like a gay lighthouse keeper. Genuinely really likes the ocean and boats. Not a furry, but if she was, their fursona would be a porpoise.
