Profile
KG is... complicated. that's honestly the easiest way to put it. they're a self-insert from middle school, but more accurately they're several self-inserts from middle school that got slammed together into a singular person when i went about reworking the Shattered Worlds setting.
originally an average middle-schooler prone to daydreaming and doodling in their sketchbooks instead of actually doing any form of schoolwork, KG got dragged into the fictional multiverse they were helping write after aforementioned fictional multiverse intersected with reality in an unexpected way. the details of it aren't super worked out right now, but what matters is that after that adventure was over with KG decided to fully cross the gap instead of return to their mundane life. the sudden entrance of the author into the multiverse didn't really go as planned, though, and KG ended up duplicating themself throughout the Shattered Worlds... sort of.
each AU of KG is, well, KG. as in they're all literally the same person, they just have different backstories and abilities depending on which universe you run into them in. they share memories & awareness, and are also aware of the fourth-wall because of originally being on the other side of it. this can make things pretty confusing for themself and everyone around them, because they tend to forget what things they should and shouldn't know depending on who they're interacting with and the context of it-- they're prone to referencing non-canon shenanigans, or accidentally revealing plot-important stuff that nobody else knows yet.
their species & powerset is variable depending on the KG in question! which can sometimes lead to awkward situations where KG tries to use an ability that they don't currently have. most of them have access to some sort of dimensional travel, and have some kind of cool signature weapon they like to bust out when things get intense. the "prime" / "combined" KG-- that is, the one usually chilling in OOC, where the points are made up and the rules don't matter-- has access to All Of The Above, but also doesn't really do anything besides goof off or cause problems on purpose.
overall, KG is a disaster, but they're a fun one, and no matter the setting or context they're just here to have a good time, make friends, and maybe do some cool stunts.
