Katie / KG (Ellis)

Prime may be the closest to an origin point the KGs have, what with the whole "being a direct author self-insert and fully aware of it", but Ellis is second-closest.

in a universe slightly to the left of the real world, KG lived a pretty normal life-- went to school, played baseball, hung out with her best friends on the regular. all of that changed when camping out in the woods to watch a meteor shower snowballed into her being one of a handful of survivors of an alien attack that destroyed her hometown, and was ready to destroy the rest of the planet while they were at it. he was barely able to hold it together, but still managed to stand his ground despite being captured and was able to meet up with the resistance, take down the invasion force somehow, and then figure out what he was going to do from now on.

the answer ended up being something unexpected: apparently instead of just being an everyday apocalypse story, KG had actually been playing sidekick in a massive crossover event. with the option to jump ship from a ravaged planet into something extraordinary being offered to him, he seized the opportunity and decided to become a worldhopper.

this... may have had consequences on the multiverse at large.

eventually, after leaving some chaos (and other resident KGs) in her wake, she settled down somewhere kinda-familiar while figuring out how to keep her story straight. this ended up not working out too well, because apparently one apocalypse isn't good enough and now he had to deal with a zombie invasion. great! with great annoyance, he picked the nickname Ellis and went back to trying to survive whatever the universe threw at him.

unlike the other KGs that usually have some sort of powerset to their name, Ellis is basically "KG irl circa age 14 with zero upgrades", but that doesn't stop her from charging in headfirst with a baseball bat and getting slam-dunked because he forgot she can't wavechange.
