Bow's parents sold him into servitude for expenses-- regardless, Bow keeps in touch with his family, and often sends them part of his income. Of course the matron and patron have freed him, so he works out of his own volition, and enjoys his work very much so, even with such crass and hateful rumors about the type of people that work and visit such a lawless place. He doesn't see what is done at his 'home' in any negative capacity; he's a good-hearted young man with a lot of affection to give, and genuine at that. His customer base has no sense of waning, and despite his schedule he still finds pockets of time for himself.

But... He is incredibly clumsy!! He doesn't make much money in comparison to how much he spends fixing up his messes.
Because he has to get in touch with the Yasiara's resident decorator to recompense, Bow is incredibly friendly with Osoru, and goes to him for guidance outside of making payments for his more pricey oopsie-daisies. Truly, the Yasiara is his home away from (what was once) home.
