WHAT ARE WE MADE OF BUT HUNGER AND RAGE?
The God of Beasts, worshipped mostly by those closely linked to animals, or inherently bestial of nature themselves, Ferine reigns over the likes of werebeasts, fauna, and the concept of the hunt, and is responsible for the food chain and the balance of the animal kingdom. And while he mostly stands for leaving animals well enough alone, he also sees the worth in the hunt and human hunters - After all, if you cannot protect yourself, you'll end up as someone else's lunch regardless.
There are, contrary to his usual followers, small pockets of worshippers who believe Ferine stands for a far darker portfolio - That of the act of cannibalism and a grimmer version of a 'hunt'.

Personality
Ferine gives the constant impression of being extremely apathetic and blunt. He does not mince words, if he speaks at all, and is very straightforward with everything he says and does not care for wasting time beating around a bush. It tends to make people dislike him, as he comes across as the rudest thing alive, but in truth, he is just very socially inept and doesn't exactly intend to make everyone pissed off. He simply prefers to remain quiet, and if he could help it, he would only ever speak to animals were it to be feasible.
As a result, most of the time he is found far away from civilisation, preferring to be around small, hidden sanctuaries for wildlife - And he is very unforgiving of any lost soul trespassing.

Summary
Worshippers
Ferine has two types of worshippers.
The first type is the most common type, which are hunters praying for a successful hunt, lycanthropes hoping for acceptance and power, and anyone who believes in the protection of wildlife. They are usually the druids and the trappers, believing in the neutrality of nature and upholding the balance of the food chain.
The second type is the one that worship the darker parts of his portfolio - The cannibals, hunters of wanton slaughter, the hungry and the humankind-rejecting lycanthropes. They believe in a god of rage, bloodlust and hunger, typing him as a less neutral, more evil type of god.
In truth, Ferine is neither extreme, and is a more balanced mixture of the two. After all, there is no hunt without hunger, no beast without bloodlust.
Holy Days
On roughly the 21st of December (or whatever the date is for the longest night in universes that do not follow the traditional calendar) a Wild Hunt is organised.
This entails that a random being, be it animal, man, or otherwise, is indiscriminately chosen to be the 'prey' to a (trial-chosen) group of hunters under Ferine's reign. The prey has, from the start of the Hunt, roughly until whenever dawn strikes to elude the hunting party or to fight their pursuers to the death. Should they manage to escape, they will be given a reward for their impressive display of survival. Otherwise, the reward goes to whatever hunter deals the finishing blow. It is theorised by mortals that, from time to time, the chosen prey can be picked by other gods, though this is a rare occurrence, if one at all.
It is rare that Ferine himself leads the hunting party, accompanied by his pack of wolves, but when it occurs, it is reason for celebration to the hunters themselves.
Hunters
Hunters, not to be confused with regular human hunters, are beings inexplicably drawn to a Hunting Lodge in a secluded valley, surrounded by miles upon miles of wildlife and nature, hidden deeply away within. Those within are beckoned by Ferine himself, chosen for their impressive aptitude for hunting, and are trained to an outrageous level of skill.
They are, in a way, the chosen hunters for the gods - They are called in to hunt any query the gods ask of them, usually to take down beings too powerful or destructive to mortal beings. For their service, the hunters enjoy near-immortality (though a stupid mistake will still cost them their lives), until retirement. The downside being that they will always be bound to the Hunting Lodge, and will not be able to resist the call of the hunt, meaning that leading a (relatively) normal life is monstrously hard, if not downright impossible.
These are also the hunters that can go through a trial to have a chance at being chosen to be part of the hunting party for the Wild Hunt.
Realm
Ferine's realm, where followers in life go to after death, is called the Eternal Hunt. It is a valley of forests, mountains and rivers, bathed in permanent light of a full moon, filled to the brim with wildlife and hunters, locked in the eternal cycle of hunted and hunting. Here, hunters and lycanthropes need not worry about persecution, and can indulge in hunting as much as they like, or simply 'live' a peaceful 'life', whichever they choose to do. And deep within the Eternal Hunt, hidden from plain view in a secluded valley, is the Hunting Lodge. Ferine and his pack of wolves can often be found here, if not wandering around Deciternal.
Trivia
Has refused to create his own castle like all the other gods - Prefers to either stay in his parents' castle or in the wilderness of the worlds the gods reign over.
Always carries along a book with him and guards it with his life. No one knows what the book holds - But some people theorise it is simply a bestiary.
Doesn't keep track nor control where the eyes on his body and clothes go. Sometimes they're on the side of his hood like they're supposed to be. Sometimes they're on his cheekbones. Sometimes on his hands. Those are bad days.
Can manipulate shadows to a degree, but mostly uses it to show creepy images to scare people.
Doesn't control what his claw-mouths grab onto and/or chew on.
Collects plush animals.
Links
Grave
Beloved partner. Only person who could ever match his level of feral. Would happily offer a flower to and have it be eaten.
Maestro
First (and only) person Ferine asked advice to over the creation of his Hunters. Cat solidarity. One of the few Ferine gets along well, and one of few allowed to choose a prey for the Wild Hunt, if he wanted to.
Samuel
They enjoy each others company because they're both blunt and horrifyingly honest. One of few 'humans' (even if only half) to get a good conversation out of.
Pluto
And Pluto is one of few gods who are just as merciless and horrific as him - As such, Ferine feels an especial kinship with Pluto for both not being saints. Likes to offer Pluto spiders and have hellhounds to pet offered in return.
