If there's one thing I'd keep it's you that I would save
In the beginning there were Twelve... or if you were to count him, there were Thirteen. Grave was the last being made on the day that the gods arrived, made from a mass of leftover magic from the entry of the first gods. He quickly attached himself to Clocked as soon as he gained any sort of consciousness, and for their vague resemblance to each other they're the first set of twins to ever be 'born' in Paracosms.
Grave holds no element unlike the rest of the gods, he is incapable of using magic and plays the line between beast and person on a daily basis. But he is a good boy.

Personality
Despite his somewhat intimidating appearance, Grave is very friendly and is almost always a people-pleasing type of person. He desperately doesn't want to be seen as threatening, but he is heavily aware of just how dangerous he is to others if they're not careful around him. He's traumatized by the damage he's done in the past, and while no one blames him any longer over what happened, he's still struggling to forgive himself for it.
He believes that his purpose in life has been to protect his brother, though that has also extended to the rest of his loved ones as well. He thinks this because he has... a sort of other side to himself. Where his mind shuts off all forms of emotional response, focusing only on aggression as he seeks to destroy whatever is causing those select people harm. He feels guilt for having such a side to himself, but it is also the only thing that makes him feel there is some worth to his existence; for if nothing else at least he can act as some form of protection.

Summary
When the first gods were born of nothing, it wasn't long after in which a mass of their leftover magic took a physical form. A form that held no element of its own, and was more beast than person especially at first. Because Clocked's magic was the one that made up the most of the ash that created Grave, he attached himself to Clocked and essentially became his twin/guard dog. It was hard to tell which he was for most of his childhood.
He grew up as Clocked did, and grew more of a mind of his own when he was a teenager and no longer spoke in fragments of sentences. Unfortunately around this time is when Clocked started to reject him and demand time to himself. It was a valid concern, but without him Grave felt incredibly alone. He didn't try to push the matter with him, he still adored his brother but they had been attached for ages. He gave him the break he so desperately wanted, and started keeping to himself to an absolute fault. To the point that when a prophecy was given that stated that Grave would cause the downfall of the gods, there was no one there to help him when Wisp arrived to kill him. Not until there had already been some damage done to him, being unable to fight back against Wisp and not knowing what was happening. He was saved by his mothers and twin, but he was very afraid of the damage he may do.
Subheader
This prophecy proved to be horribly correct in the worst way, because the first gods began to drop like flies due to their souls being captured within a young teenager who sought to control Paracosms. Clocked could've saved everyone, and he might very well have had it not been for Grave's intervention. In desperation to prove the prophecy was wrong he tried to leap at the boy to help his brother, but the boy somehow got into Grave's mind and took control of his body.
That is the day in which everyone learned that damage from Grave's claws could prove to be irreversible against the gods. When Grave's mind returned to him his claws were covered in what looked like black ink, and his brother was being captured with one of his eyes suddenly gone. In horror over what he'd done, Grave ran and didn't dare look back.
Leaping through the many portals to other worlds that exist within Paracosms, Grave found himself in Deciternal and lost track of everything that made him himself. He gave his mind away to the feral side and he blended into the wildlife living there as best he could as what is essentially an invasive species. It wouldn't be for hundreds of years or more before he would return to being himself again, when Clocked caught word of a strange creature hanging around a town and scaring others that fit Grave's description.
Taking advantage of their connection Clocked was able to pull Grave back from his feral state, and despite numerous accepted apologies Grave struggles forgive himself for ever doing harm to his brother. He stayed in hiding in the far corners of Clocked's castle as he tried to fit back into his old life again, sometimes visiting his mothers' castles as well but for the most part he kept to his own room in Clocked's castle. It was a lonely and depressing time that lasted for quite awhile, but he eventually would become social again with the gods. It took the new God of Beasts reaching adulthood and them being introduced to make Grave feel slightly better about being out and about, but at least with Ferine's help he's doing better for the most part, a lot better now.
Trivia
His claws are probably indestructible, if not nearly so. While not kept razor sharp they still can do a lot of damage if he's not careful.
While he holds no element of his own, he can still sort of hold an element of someone else's within his body for at least a short time. This only really works with people he trusts, and no one really knows if his can be of use for anything so far.
When he is physically harmed ashes come out instead of blood of any sort, this is what has gotten him the title of the God of Ashes. Ashes also tend to just follow him around on occasion and he doesn't really know why.
In some circles due to the above fact he is seen as a god despite the fact he really isn't. He isn't sure how he feels about this fact, but his brother says it's a good thing.
When Clocked is upset either from a panic attack or in rage, no matter where Grave is he can feel it and he will react in a feral manner. This is due to the connection between their souls, this connection also makes it so they do on occasion feel the pain that the other feels, i.e. one getting a headache, the other will sometimes feel like a sort of echo.
If you count his ears perked up, he's the same height as his brother when standing. Clocked tends to put them back to normal when he does this just to tease him.
Grave is basically infertile in terms of how new gods are made, he cannot create any magic of his own to lend to a new god's existence. He doesn't mind this however, his partner has many dogs that he's helped look after since they were puppies and that might as well be him being a parent. It's better than the alternative if he's honest.
