While most of Heteka Bay's residents are not the most normal, Kelly has the honour of being the town's 'weird kid'. The daughter of two secret witches (and a young witch herself) Kelly is almost never seen without her two seagull familiars (named Gilbert and Zanera) . Kelly keeps to herself and is hard to read, making her all the more mysterious to the other townsfolk.

- Gilbert is a Southern black-backed gull (karoro) and Zanera is a Red-billed gull (tarāpunga)

-Kelly loves using Pinterest and does a lot of craft activities with her Mums
