Lucifer was once God's favorite angel.

Pet's story is an ancient and long one, so it's best to skip ahead to when he would believe his life truly started: when he finally met his soulmate. He was just a boy then, and Pet had taken the form of a sickly man named Wilhelm. He was the one to leave his soulmate first.

Then, he met the half-demon again. He was utterly handsome, which Pet always expected he would turn out to be. At a masquerade ball, more than a decade after their first meeting, Pet got a taste of his soulmate. Then, he left Italy with his family, and Pet was alone again.

Everytime Pet found his soulmate, it was like some force wanted to keep them apart. Finally, though, he found him once again. But he was too late this time around: Shade had found love. But, the draw of a soulmate was always going to be more powerful. Pet didn't care if he would be labeled as a homewrecker, a harlot, a mistress. He finally was able to be with Shade.

That was, of course, until Pet became pregnant. He was terrified. He had been with Shade for over a decade, and Shade had left his previous lover for the fallen angel. But Pet was terrified. So he left.

It wasn't until 2011 that he and Shade could finally live peacefully. This time, Pet wouldn't let him go.
