Main Critique: figuring out how his heart was broken without it being too "over the top" while damaging enough to induce severe Broken-Heart Syndrome.

First Draft:

Daisuke used to be a promising and talented college student, that is, until he died of a broken heart. The person he had fallen for was his childhood bestfriend that had purposely lead him on to use his assets to get through university with him. The day Daisuke asked them out, the person completely crushed his heart - claiming to have never loved him in any form ever, berating him for not being enough, and soon ghosting him; they had found a wealthier and more well off individual to leech off of. After that, they feigned having no knowledge of who Dai ever was, spread a diabolical rumor to detriment his reputation with peers and professors alike, and puppetiered the entirity of it to ensure Daisuke's social life and opportunities were as good as dead.

Unable to cope with the whirlwind of negativity he never thought to endure, Daisuke's heart shattered into pieces and the heartstrings in the muscle torn apart, severely damaging the left ventricle, which soon resulted in an unprecedented massive heart-attack that he died of.

Daisuke's journey to becoming an unbleeder was certainly a stroke of luck. His parents soon found out about their son's death and reached out with what resources they had and could afford, when one day they were approached by a mysterious figure. This figure promised their family respite, protection, and even the chance to one day see their son again should they pay a hefty amount of money with their son's corpse.
