Profile
Cameron -- otherwise known as "big brother by adoption," is a passionate engineer and student. He works hard to complete his goals and tries to be as pleasant as possible, but his lack of sleep often makes him a little goofy. Unfortunately, even with Cameron's integrity, he usually ends up with the short end of the stick in embarassing and almost comical situations.
He enjoys coding and building mechanical devices, much like his adoptive father. Cameron also is a great cook and will sometimes work with Chris to make their siblings food when their dad isn't home. He also enjoys playing video games and has a friendly rivalry with Mark.
He lives in a family of five -- father, two older brothers, a younger sister, and himself. After his mother was involved in an accident when he was 15, Cameron seeked out mechanic jobs to make money, which is how he met Mr. Marshall. The more time he spent with the Marshall family, the more they grew attached to Cam, even inviting him to have meals with them or sleep over when needed. The Marshall family took him in after his mother sadly passed away, officially adopting Cameron. He is very close to all of his family members, despite being adopted. At school, he doesn't have many friends, but he does have a tight circle that he often interacts with.

Even though Cameron is adopted, Mr. Marshall treats Cam with kindness like he does with his other kids. Cameron is respectful of Mr. Marshall's burdens and utilizes his independence to help his siblings when his father is having troubles. Cameron also seeks to follow an engineering/comp sci path, and Mr. Marshall acts as a mentor towards him as well.
Mark and Cam are rivals when it comes to videogames. The two are both equally skilled, so whenever it's time to play, these two are competing neck to neck in whatever game they choose. It has become entertaining for the entire family, especially Chris, who claims he has rewards to offer the winner every time.
From even before Cameron's adoption, Chris was first one to get along with him. The two would often talk about their love for anything musical, and even years later, Chris sees Cam as a role model. He still comes to his older brother for advice (mainly school-related) at times.
Abby looks up to Cam as a role model, often lovingly imitating what he does, albiet mostly jokingly. Cameron tries his best to be a good influence on her- it's somewhat working?
Cameron respects Matthew for his work-life balance. That is, being able to do sports, homework, and keep a job. He sometimes learns baking recipes from Matthew to share with Chris later.
Cam sees Melinda even more than he does Matthew due to them both being mentored by Robert. Although robotics aren't Cameron's specific interest, he finds Melinda's drive inspiring and pushes him to work hard on his engineering.
With Robert being his dad's best friend, Cameron spends a lot of time around Robert learning his trade and any tips for the future. He looks up to Robert's persistance through hardship and wishes to become like him.
Emma is one of Cameron's friends at school. Her extrovertedness helps Cam get out of his shell a little!
Yuvaan and Cameron have been friends ever since Cameron started attending the high school around his new home. Cameron, Yuvaan, and Emma are a trio and usually never seen seperated.
