They met as strangers and felt drawn to each other due to their similar geode cake mutations. They became friends and after researching it some, they uncovered that they share an ancestor who had this mutation as well, before it skipped several generations. Though royal duties keep Delia busy most of the time, Cos is glad to offer her cottage as a refuge, should the princess ever need a break.
