"This is completely pointless."

Gregg is rough around the edges and perpetually pissed off, and he has little patience when dealing with others. He’s always uneasy and usually prefers to be drunk in order to deal with his feelings. The only person he feels he can trust even a little bit is Charles, who he knew from before the fall since they’d talk at the bar. Gregg is very secretive, and no one in the group knows his real age. He prefers to sit in the backseat with his headphones on instead of interacting with the others, especially Landon. Gregg is useful in combat but he doesn’t have any of the good weapons and cannot convince Cam to give him one.

Gregg's family were hardcore preppers before the fall, and he adopted their ideologies as he grew up. He always carries around his backpack, which contains several necessities such as a week's worth of food, water purification tablets, matches, a variety of medicine, a solar-powered charging brick, as well as some other miscellaneous items. He never takes the backpack off, even when sleeping. Gregg prefers to be alone most of the time, choosing to stay quiet or listen to the music on his old MP3 player which is a "survival necessity" to him. After becoming (basically) immortal, Gregg became a death junkie- dying for the "thrill of it". Most of the time, he tries to find stupid, creative ways to die instead of dying whenever possible, since that really "isn't fun," in his words. He tries to push away everyone else in the group, just in case their immortality suddenly wears off and they die for real. However, he loves Charles and wishes that he would see how terrible Landon really is. Everyone thinks he's older than he actually is, about 25, as he used to use a fake ID to drink at Charles's bar.
