Vezna was born into the fatui. She was grown up into the military group and put through extreme training and no casualties. She didn't have time to make friends, or talk to her family, really. Not that they paid any mind to her. She felt that everyday was just... wake up, work, sleep. She struggles to show any sort of affection, or work with a team, because growing up without your parents supporting you and giving you attention as a kid leaves you sort of... incapable of understanding how it feels to be loved. She had almost no information on her family. As years passed, she started to envy the 11th fatui harbinger for how important family was to childe. Vezna wished to experience that same kind of feeling, "I must protect my family." Is a good motive, she thought. Seeing Childe's relationship with Teucer resulted in Vezna wanting a brother figure in her life. One day Vezna decided to snoop through the Tsaritsa's old subordinate files, organized in alphabetical order by last names she scrolled through the pages to look for hers. She finally found the files of a man, Dmitriy Zakharov. His face seemed a little unfamiliar but she thought this was because of the big stamp over his Id, in red. It wrote, "EXT." Which everyone knew was "this bitch dead" in short. Vezna felt disappointed because all that snooping... for her to found out her possible father is dead. This didn't bring her down any way, but she felt a sudden need to find a person(s) she can protect, or love and she needed to figure out how she can go about doing that. So she slept with many men and women and it's not that she didn't enjoy it, but people like that usually don't even share their names. A part of her also felt like relationships outside of her job could be... stressful. So she decided to avoid it for a little bit.
Vezna got assigned to a new team, with two other members. Xiang Zhi from Liyue, and Luna. They got along pretty well, but Vezna took a bit to warm up since she always looked like she had a stick up her ass. She saw Zhi as an older brother figure, the one she's been looking for. The three shared laughs and moments together until Zhi decided to split from the group and become a runaway. Vezna and Luna were both very upset about his parting but Vezna was able to let it go. She spoke to Zhi before he left. Zhi explained why he was quitting and how he felt about everything and Vezna let him go. She felt that Zhi was not obligated to play as her best friend/brother and she was just living in some fantasy she had to let go of. To her, it seemed like Luna and Zhi were closer then the two of them anyway. After he left, Luna and Vezna drifted apart as well. Luna became power hungry and obsessed with her position and ready to EXT Xiang Zhi. This scared Vezna a lot and she swore that if Zhi ever needed help or was in trouble, he could contact her.
Vezna went back to doing her usual stuff, yknow back to her old schedule and everything... She was less skilled compared to her two previous companions so she was taken off the group after Luna was ranked up, and Zhi left. She went back to fucking bitches getting hoes. A part of her is glad she isn't a harbinger because whatever Zhi saw disgusted him so much, Vezna would rather not rank up to deal with things like that, but the fatui is her home she has no choice but to stay.
On a small mission to retrieve a stolen item which belonged to the fatui, she had to go down to the fatui's black market to find the person acting as a merchant, who had no records of working with the tsaritsa. She asked around, most people not so welcoming... Until someone pulled her into an alleyway and offered her a delusion. She declined since she already had a vision and she felt that she wasn't worthy to have a delusion. Vezna asked the person if they had seen anyone suspicious and the response would always draw her away from anything relevant... so she began to grow suspicious of the mf. Until he decided to introduce himself. Sakharin was his name. She gave her name too and decided to stop interrogating the merchant bye. Ok idk how to do this anyways they become besties and she does capture the thief and then shes introduced to lukyan and they become besties yayay these bitches formed the #1 childe hate club
Vezna is afraid they will fall apart like her previous relationships but there's no way thats happening right guys so true.
