BACKSTORY

. Young Life

Adderkit was born into a toxic family, from birth all he knew of families was arguing, deception and shouting. Never love. His parents were Snakejaw and Iceheart. When Adderkit was born, it wasn't long before his father, Snakejaw began to question Iceheart if Adderkit was really his son. As Iceheart was known for making her rounds around ShadowClan with any toms she could get with.

From then Snakejaw kept his distance from Iceheart and Adderkit. Iceheart herself was getting ready to finish weening Adderkit, only because she wanted to leave her kit with the Queens. What Adderkit never heard her say was that she blamed him for her mate never seeing her again. But he could feel it. Iceheart could never accept that she was ever at fault.

The remainder of Adderkit's Kithood was spent with the other queens, who tried to shower the young tom with the love that he never had before. Although...the damage had already been done.

Beforelong it was time for Adderkit to become an apprentice, he was made a guard apprentice, his mentor being a tom called Bearshade. For the most part Adderpaw was distant to his peers, although throughout his apprenticeship a molly called Snowpaw showed interest in him. And he followed her lead.

. Adulthood

Beforelong Adder became a full guard, earning the name Adderstrike. It wasn't much long after that, that Adderstrike and Snowbloom would announce their mateship. Then Moons after that, they'd announce to the clan, the birth of their son, Palekit.

Although after the birth of Palekit the Adderstrike and Snowbloom broke up their mateship. The two argued in the middle of camp, and it was here that the Snowbloom and the entire camp found out that Adderstrike was infact homosexual. Since then Adderstrike and Snowbloom don't speak to one another. Adderstrike tries to play a role in his son's life, although he finds Snowbloom preventing him from doing so. The tom spends most of his free time with his friend Honeydawn. A cat who he is heavily crushing on, although he believes it's completely one sided.
