Chow Yang

Chow Yang is a pink giant panda, with light pink muzzle, black spots on his eyes, and a strange birthmark of Diamonds in his pupils. This makes his vision somewhat blurry. When Chow was growing up then he lived with a nice family of temple caretakers in Takakami. His father was a nice person, and he has always been supportive of his boy Chow. But his mother on the other hand was not the best. She wasn't abusive to Chow physically, but she would neglect him. Chow's parents are divorced, so Chow would switch between their houses during the week. Obviously he preferred his fathers house, since he loved Chow for who he is. Chow was a very creative and artistic kid, and he'd always paint things for the temple tourists that would come around. He grew up having a pretty happy childhood for the most part, especially since his father was very sweet to him. And another reason why he was so happy, is because he would frequently visit his two cousins. Grizz being his older cousin from Pleasant Forest, and Davey his younger cousin just a few blocks away from Chow himself. Chow would always look after his cousins and act as a protective older brother to the both of them. When Chow was slightly older, then he started going into school. In the normal days, then he'd be getting his proper education. And during the summer, then Chow would go to some children's art schools, since he loved making arts and crafts in his spare time. During his school days then Chow ended up meeting one of his best friends for a long time. His friend is an deer named Buck Wiled, who was a very sporty kid, and always loved talking about sports and baseball cards. He and Chow got along, even though they didn't have much in common. Buck would always try to convince Chow to play sports when they were younger, but Chow was never interested. They were closer then anyone else, and Chow truly considered Buck to be his Best Friend Forever. Though some bad things happened to Chow slightly later in his life. And then his life would go completely downhill for a while.

Chow was sleeping in his room one night, and his father woke him up in a crying panic. The news he would be that Davey, Chow's younger cousin, was kidnapped and has gone missing. Chow would be mortified, and he'd be a lot more open with his sad emotions. Chow's mother didn't really care though, not seeing Davey's value to their family. That was a red flag, and even at Chow's younger age, then he saw his mother as someone he'd like to avoid. Chow would continue to go though his school life with a bit of struggle. But his best friend Buck Wiled would always be there by his side, to cheer him up and make him feel happier. Buck and Chow would keep being friends from second grade, all the way until High School! And during Chow's early High School years, then his parents finally cut contacts with each other, and Chow was now fully with his father. He never really saw his mother again, but at this point then he didn't even mind. He continued his art hobby, and he was also starting to get into other forms of art. He was mainly a painter, but he also learned how to do other art that made him happy. Like sculpting with clay, playing music, and most importantly, filmmaking. Chow loved filmmaking especially, and he'd make many stop motion movies, and soon small live action projects. He and Buck were still friends, and Buck was quite popular in High School and a bit of College. Buck's friends would hang out with Chow, and Chow would see them all as good people. But that would change very soon. During College then Chow and Buck would still be pretty close, but Buck would choose to hang out with his sports friends more then Chow. But Buck was also becoming more and more toxic, so Chow would try to distance himself slowly from Buck, but he wanted to help Buck get better.

The things that Buck would do were mainly against the law, but he'd hide it to keep his reputation spotless. Since Buck wanted to become a big time Sports Gear creator in the future. Yet, Buck and his sports friends would start to do Drugs, and sometimes hook up with barely conscious women. They wouldn't tell anyone these things, but Chow would know better, and sometimes snitch on Buck's friends, but never Buck himself. Buck would get tired of Chow after a while, since he felt like Chow would eventually get him into trouble. So one day, when Buck got a large amount of illegal drugs, then he would hide it. But he would hide it with Chow, and make up a fake story about Chow being a drug dealer. And sadly, Buck's plan worked flawlessly. Nobody questioned Buck because he was very well known around his College, and Chow wasn't. In fact the more popular kids, and a few teachers didn't even like Chow, so they took Buck's side, and would even make up fake evidence about Chow to get him in even more trouble. When Chow was staged with the drugs then Chow was arrested for illegal substances. There was no evidence to prove his innocence at the time, so he had to do some unjustly jail time. Chow had three phone calls that he had to try and make. His first try was his father, but he was not home, so no luck there. Next he tried Grizz, and he did pick up. But Grizz felt betrayed since Chow was now seen as a criminal to most of Grizz's family now. So still no luck there. But, finally Chow decided to call his best friend Buck for help. He picked up, but something about the way Buck spoke made Chow realize something. Buck had planned this. Buck decided after the phone call to ghost Chow, and leave him all alone. And Chow got locked up for many years in prison, about five or six years.

Eventually, Chow's name was cleared as innocent. And Chow was let out after five years of abuse in prison, making Chow pretty jaded at first. Since a lot of prisoners would use him as their own punching bag, and some would even assault him. Chow's father always trusted that Chow was innocent, and actually was the one who proved his innocence. Grizz's family and Davey's family also came around to Chow, and found out he was completely innocent. It took a little while, but Chow would eventually forgive them. Prison just scarred him on a different level. Chow even gave up art for a little while, since he was too scared to express himself anymore. And Chow grew a burning hatred for Buck, and decided to never speak to him again. Buck meanwhile made his empire when Chow was serving time. His company name is Buck's Sporting Goods, and he's been CEO and a well received athlete ever since. Chow meanwhile had started getting back into his art and filmmaking, but it was hard for him to get a job due to his prison record. So, Grizz decided to share his home with Chow, so that his cousin doesn't become completely homeless. Chow's been living there ever since. He plans on becoming an actor and film director. But he possibly wants to become a sculptor and commission artist on the side. Chow's been creating his art happily nowadays, and he even does commissions for people. He also loves to chill in his cousin's house, and he likes experimenting with his life, since he's starting to start his life over. Part of his new hobbies is traveling, and he loves meeting people. During his meeting then he eventually met one of his future partners named Dr.Drear.

Dr.Drear, also known as Doctor Dreadful was starting his own travel journey. Their love for bodies and researching things naturally brought the two of them together. Chow also ended up meeting his other partner named Luca, a yellow pangolin who would write music and have small concerts. Chow's always been open to the idea of Polyamory, so once he and Drear talked about it, then they both decided to get close with Luca. Eventually, Luca started dating both of them. And Chow's been very happy ever since. He still lives with Grizz, but he also likes to travel and visit his partners. Chow has seen quite a bit of success with his art, especially with Grizz's small business help. Grizz runs a wood carving business in his free time when he's not lumberjacking. So Grizz offered Chow to paint art, his sculptures, and for Chow to make clay sculptures for everyone to buy. Chow's pretty much forgotten his prison days, but he still actively boycotts Buck's company. Recently Chow has been making short films about his trauma and his life, and showing his work at film festivals. So you can expect him to become an actor sometime soon. In his meantime, then he also loves to care for his two partners. Chow is a little cocky, but deep down, then he's a very kind man. And he just wants to inspire others and make them all happy with his artwork, and filmography.
