Galan Bourne

Galan grew up in the Elven kingdom of Cestaji, located deep in the Neblian Forest. In Cestajian culture, it is customary for each elf entering adulthood to have their professions chosen for them. Galan had always dreamt of being a knight and spent countless hours studying and training to be one. However, when the time came, it was decided that he would become a fisherman, and though this job was seen as perfectly acceptable in his community, Galan was extremely disappointed. He begrudgingly took his job, and he admitted that he much preferred the spear they used to fish over a sword or bow, but after a year, he decided he had had enough. One night, while all the knights-in-training were asleep, he snuck in and attempted to steal a uniform and some equipment, but after being caught, he was forced to go on the run. Although, he knew he would never be welcomed back as the person he wanted to be, he decided to guard his kingdom from a distance, which was what led him to meeting Kaida and Damien.

Galan managed to corner them as they were passing through Cestajian territory, but agreed to lead them out of he forest after spotting a few Cestajian knights that were on their tracks. Kaida and Damien, of course, don't realize that he isn't who he says he is, so he constantly has to hide the fact that he actually isn't a knight and knows about as much about getting out of the Neblian Forest as they do.
