About Ahinano

Originally from Polynesia, Ahinano can show her full potential underwater. It's in deep waters and oceans that she feels comfortable. The young woman manages to stay several minutes in apnea, without diving equipment.S he is of great help in gathering underwater resources.

Since Ahinano is deaf, she cannot express herself through words; thanks to Nanubé, the group learns to communicate through codes and clicks; the fisherwoman uses waves and vibrations to interact with the world. Her ability to adapt is her greatest asset.

Ahinano is open and, contrary to what one might think, very curious and quick to chat with people. She has a well-developed sense of humor and is interested in others.
Maybe one day she will have the chance to hear and speak...
