A star during the Golden Age of Hollywood with a deep secret. His youth is eternal after being turned into a vampire on the set of his first feature film, and his life is being tyranically managed by The Director. Relief only comes after The Director's mysterious death, but after over half a century of peace, the dead don't remain buried...

- His likeness is similar to Monty Clift, and his dynamic with Jolene is similar to Clift's with Elizabeth Taylor.
- He slept through most of the 90s.
- He has a pet armadillo and keeps bees as a hobby.
- He donates toys and funds for the children's wing of hospitals in exchange for spare blood. (Not from the children-)
Born on Halloween in 1906, Monty grew up as devoutly religious and with a knack for performance. The advent of "talkies" inspired him to earn his start in the movie industry, with little inital success despite his talent and dedication. It's only when the role of a lifetime seemingly drops into his lap that things finally start to look up for him, but he doesn't realize the cost. After being cast as Jonathan in a subversive adaptation of Dracula, he's locked into a restrictive contract, turned into a vampire on set, and restricted from telling anyone what has happened, including his own family. The movie is a smash hit, and it's the beginning of a long and lucrative partnership with his forced mentor, known only as The Director. The Director controls nearly every aspect of Monty's life, whether it be the roles he takes, the people he interacts with, or how his image is displayed. Monty had pleaded multiple times to be let out of his contract, but every time he did, he was threatened with being outed as gay and potentially being sent to a psych ward for a lobotomy. It's only after Jolene's seeming death that he finally snaps, and stakes The Director, (which to the public is still viewed as an unsolved murder.) With his newfound freedom, he ended up pursuing a much more quiet career.
His first extended relationship with a man occurred in the late eighties, coincidentally with a human named Jonathan. The two bonded over their interest in alternative music and attending shows of the time, and the relationship flourished from there. However, they'd argue frequently, particularly about Monty's feeding habits, which he was hesitant to partake in out of shame. This ended up backfiring when one evening, he was so starved and enraged that he lashed out and bit Jonathan in what would've been a turning blow. However, Jonathan begged to be put down before he could become a vampire, and Monty, who had returned to his senses, obliged. The incident haunted him severely, and led to him sleeping through most of the nineties out of a sense of grief.
In the present, he's in a long term relationship with a nephilim named Cali, who he is absolutely entranced with. Being with him has him feeling the most safe and secure he's felt in a long time, which is unfortunate, because he's much less safe than he believes. A cult in the basement of a hipster coffee shop has brought The Director back to life, and the first thing he wants is revenge. Once he goes after Monty's nephew, Percy, turning him, Monty realizes that the life he had built for himself is on the verge of crumbling apart if he doesn't do something, and has to gear himself up to stop The Director once and for all. However, the auteur still has a few tricks up his sleeve...
Cali [ Lovers ]
His current lover, who he would do anything to protect. He doesn't want Cali to be burdened by the ghosts of his past, and is especially scared that his past mistakes will repeat themselves. However, despite his fears, Cali is a shining prescence in his life.
Jolene [ Fake Romance, Best Friends ]
Also a vampire, him and Jolene were in a studio mandated staged relationship to disguise both of their sexualities. While their romantic love wasn't real, their platonic bond was genuine, and without Jolene's support through the roughest of times under The Director, Monty would be dead. It's only after faking her death that Monty works up the courage to stand up to him, and in turn once he realizes in the present that she's still alive, he's overjoyed.
Vinny [ ???? ]
It was a one night stand in the seventies that neither of them forgot. At least that's how the story goes. Monty still harbors good feelings for Vinny, even if they only meet for drinks once in a blue moon.
