About
Sometimes has a habit of sticking himself in other's business. Nathan likes to use others' secrets against themselves and will use information and his persuasiveness as his biggest weapons, but is really good as masquerading them as tools instead. He'll rarely show any negative emotion, but not out of strength, but rather it just takes a lot to make him upset.
Maybe being involved in situations not meant for him is what got Nathan his mutation, but it's also given him a story to tell, so it's yet to be seen what can stop Nathan. He's incredibly curious about the empress of Evelow. While she may not have many secrets of her own, there are some hiding within the council.

Story
Backstory
Formerly a citizen of an island called Dile, Nathan escaped the small town and became a traveler when he turned eighteen, spending most of his time between cities and in the wasteland. His job was going very well until a mutation killed him. He was presumed dead for a few hours, until he woke up with a violent illness, but regardless, he was alive. His most noticeable physical change was a change in eye color. Fascinated by this strange recovery, Nathan's team of travelers took him to Evelow, the giant and medically advanced city, for further studies.
Yes, he was indeed dead for several hours, they confirmed through samples that showed decaying tissue, and he remained lower in temperature. Something about his mutation was keeping Nathan alive, so Evelow's medical experts talked Nathan into staying under their observation permanently, thus ending his career as a traveler. It was bound to end anyway, Nathan had a decline in health and needed to be taken care of so much of the time. Besides, this happens to be the same city in which his sister Audrey resided in, so he can feel reunited with her.
Current Story
Now that Nathan finds himself stuck in one city indefinitely, he'll use this opportunity to truly shine in his role of guiding others, and thus decides to slowly take over Evelow. Despite that being other people's dreams, Nathan is quite good at making sure no one knows of his intentions, the only exceptions being Audrey, who tries to stop him, and his new friend Echo, who endorses him.
Nathan has learned that the council could also use some extra advising, and with his persuasiveness, he was able to easily integrate himself into the prime life of Evelow and gets close to the council. He decides on introducing himself to the House of Ellocast, since the head, Dr. Cloud Ellocast, is extremely old, scientifically influential, and perhaps sinister. However, they have a clone that's destined to fill their seat, aforementioned Echo. Nathan learns he can use his new close ties to his advantage. The more he learns about Evelow's dark secrets, the harder it is for him to decide whether he wants to expose them or embrace them.
What's to come
Integrating himself as a council advisor has allowed him to get closer to them. Unfortunately his attachment to Echo has made him most biased towards them. Nathan is not one to prioritize aiding others, but maybe it doesn't count if he wants the same thing. Evelow is a lovely city, and Nathan doesn't want it to fall to chaos, just his own control. It doesn't help that his own sister is one of the people that want to see Evelow fall. Hm, so much for family unity.

Nathan is ecstatic that he gets to be homebound in the city his sister lives in. though the two are hardly alike, Nathan tries really hard to get Audrey to talk just as much as he does.
Echo seems to be eager to help him now that Nathan is advising their original, Dr. Cloud.Oh, he means helping him treat his mutation, *not* ruling over Evelow. Of course not ;-)
There's a reason she's the social elite, Nathan only met her recently and is already paying close attention to her. There has to be a catch, right ?
