Lauran

An eccentric owner of a very fine alcohol shop in Brakesh.
He is a more powerful nymph, whos isn't really bound to a particular tangible element of nature. Instead his powers lays within the fermentation process as a whole, which he utilizes to guide his work. He does howevre feel connected to and themes his aesthetic and looks around the tree Laurmeiyer, which is known for it's metallic leaves, when unplucked. Laurmeiyer is also known as a symbol of nuturing nature and relationships, as once its leaves are plucked, they lose their metallic color. Alike how nature or a relationship can wilt, once you try to claim it, by plucking it. Laurmeiyer has often been traslated to "Rich-maker", implying that you get rich from it. In a some modern adaptations, this has been used as an ironic name and a lesson of not trusting what you see or what people are selling you, however it is more likely that the original meaning was something like "Admire something, even if it can't solely yours, and it will make your life much richer", when paired up with other symbolistic uses and historical notes.
Lauran is a skilled and professional salesman, whom appeal to higher societies and more expensive trade. He has a knack for getting ihs hands on very rare types of alcohol, though he isn't as keen on selling them all onwards. Rather, he keeps a good bunch for his own collection. He knows his stuff, but isn't quite as snobby as the majority of people who shops directly with him. Instead Lauran is well-spoken, polite and earnest to most anyone. He is quite relaxed about people being annoing or rude and doesn't let such comment really stick. Unless of course you're dissing his wares quality, then we're gonna have an issue.
