Kain is an altered state of a Myotismon (a vampire). He is drawn to the cold much like an IceDevimon or SnowAgumon, and prefers to live in wintry, frozen wonderlands of snow and ice. Heat is his greatest enemy, as he does not do well in high temperatures. The wintry realm that he resides in is a German server. German is his native tongue, and usually ends up going off into a tangent in his native tongue. Kain's accent is very thick and can sometimes be quite difficult to comprehend. Vempyremon, however, may be the only one interested enough to learn a language just for him.

As a Digimon kills and absorbs the data of another, they grow stronger; far more powerful versions of themselves. In his kingdom of ice, Kain competed with the village's highest authority to win the title of 'ruler' amongst the Eisborn. His murderous tendencies had not at all been in vain. Giving him the upper hand in strength and endurance, he bested his opponent with ease. He would become the next to lead the Eisborn. Kain would be, and is, a wise ruler, however...his rules were firm, strict and unforgiving. Those who failed to conform to these rules would be deleted without mercy. He would not let his emotions get in the way with his rule. Did he even have any?

A foreign, digital creature wandered upon his land, seeking to destroy those who stood in her path. A monster who hailed from the Dark Area, where the Demon Lords lurked. Daemon had commanded this one to put an end to the German village's nonsense. Really, he just did not like the look of them. Without question, his little lackey would comply. Intending to infiltrate and destroy the city from within. Unfortunately, nothing really seemed to go to plan. Kain's emotional stiffness faltered, and he soon found more than just his love for ruling with an iron fist. Taken aback, this digital infiltrator escaped his needy clutches. For a time...

After her initial dismay (see Vempremon's lore), Kain was reunited with her, as she was reconfigured and reprogrammed to a different state of mind. She accepted the love he had offered, and their bond grew hastily over the course of a short time. Kain had even offered to teach her his native language, despite the difficulty in doing so. In a way, they had become inseparable, desperate for one another, wanting nothing more but to hold each other in their arms. Unfortunately...tragedy fell.

Kain finally had met his demise to the Demon Lord, Daemon. Deleted. Turned to digital dust. Vempyremon was left heart broken. She retreated back to the shadows where Daemon had created her. The icy overlord was no more.
