Virgolene's Links
[She reaches into her bag and presents a scroll with a flourish, bowing forward somewhat to the goddess.] O' bright and lovely Jessimae, one of the geniuses of our time sends his pleas to you specifically for answers! Do you care to oblige? Watching him come to his own conclusions has been fun, after all...
Oh, what a silly human! Where's the fun in just handing over the answers? I'll give him a nudge in the right direction, but things gained without work are meaningless, aren't they, Virgolene? Thank you for keeping me updated. You should come over for tea sometime!
(I feel bad for this one. No one prays to the god of Death unless they're pleading to be spared from their cold hand...)
(I feel sympathy for her - Prayers to my cohorts, especially my sibling, are constant. She must always be on her feet.)
(...I think I'm a little tired of the way things are being run around here. On top of being just tired in general. There has to be a fairer way to do this, right?)
Hello Virgolene! Do you happen to have any time to tell me of the wonders you've seen in the mortal world? [The goddex beams at her, and even seems almost ridiculously oblivious to Virgolene's plight.]
(Ah, our leader's partner in life. I've never trifled in love myself, but it seems that love triumphs over all troubles...) Fair Emilice! Where should I put these offerings? [Virgolene eyes the chocolates in her arms with temptation.]
Oh my dear! Let me take those off your hands, I'm quite capable of carrying those myself. [they wink and flex, but their eyes follow the messenger goddess' gaze briefly] Why don't you take a couple for the road? It's not like I can eat all of these myself anyway đź’¦
(Poor dear looks so tired... I should talk to the others about giving her a holiday)
(Ah, Gem reminds me so much of her parent...) [Virgolene comes to a jogging halt.] Hello, girls!
Momma's messenger! I wish I could be as fast as she. [She starts waving excitedly at Virgolene with her side of the body.] Hail and well met, speedy one!
[Virgolene looks genuinely concerned for the more dispassionate twin of the Watchers. She tries to give a comforting smile to Ophieux.] Chin up, little one. I'm sure there will be sunnier days around the bend for you. Here, I got something you might like-- [She begins to rummage through her parcel for something.] ...Aha!
Momma's messenger... [She gives a little wave with her own side of the body, but doesn't continue on like Gemille. Ophie perks up somewhat at the idea of a gift, but doesn't get her hopes up.] Oh? ...Oh! [She takes the finely dressed doll and looks it in its little glass eyes for a moment, then hugs it to her chest with a small smile.] It's perfect, thank you.
A strange existence, in my opinion - For who prays to the God of Luxury except those wanting for it for themselves...? [She has a rather narrow point of view of the purpose of opulence, but it's most likely because she's never had more than a relative moment to rest on her laurels like the other gods.]
Darling you simply *must* join in on the party someday. All work and no play makes a girl quite dull, I say. Besides, you're always invited đź’ť
You! You're the one who's been stealing my cherubs! Do you have anything to say for yourself? (And to my little cherubs...!?)
🌕 Whaaaaaat? Stealing???? [shakes head] Tsk, tsk, tsk. No Little bird you have it wrong! I’m merely borrowing your dears. Really you should be thanking me. [gestures a hidden Cherub to come over and present itself] I gave your dears a much needed, GLAMOROUS, makeover!!!
She created the bridge over the Milky Way - I've crossed it every day in my travels from the Heavens to the mortal world, but it's still as pretty as the night I first saw it. Thank you for creating it, Galactic.
[blushing] Oh beloved Virgolene, your words are too kind. You have no need to thank me. [looks out onto the spinning galaxy] Although it does make my heart sing that my work still stirs your emotions after all this eternity…
Catch me if you can! ;P
[Erzsebet growls a bit in frustration. She's getting tired of chasing the Goddess.] Don't test me, your Godliness. I'm not in the mood to be tested.
One of my most diligent devotees - I bless thee with the swiftness of the winter's wind, and reward your tireless work with divine recognition. I'll do everything in my power to help you, Sir.
