Wei Xiao was originally a normal tiger living in the mountains before humans had spread far across the country. Even in his youth he was a powerful fighter and quickly became known for being the strongest in his territory, eventually leading him to become a god. He flourished during these years, lavished in every mortal desire he could ever want. But over time humans began to lose faith in the gods and those who worshipped him dwindled until barely enough believed in him for him to continue to exist. It was then that he met a minor snake diety from his past who offered to help him survive as part of their own goals. Resenting having to rely on someone else, but having no other choice, he took them up on their offer.

Wei Xiao is, above all things, prideful. He sees himself as above almost everyone and tends to make it very clear in the way he speaks. He's fairly mature and has a calm demeanor most of the time, but also likes to enjoy the many pleasures of life, whether drinking, fighting, or sex. Although he definitely classifies as a fairly stereotypical manly man he's secure enough to not actually TRY to put any effort into appearing masculine. He's not too concerned about other people's opinions as long as he feels confident that he's stronger than them.

  • Scars don't have to be exact other than the three scratches under his left eye.
  • Has a notch in his right ear.
  • Hair is dark brown at the roots towards his forhead and white on the underside.
  • My style doesn't get this across amazingly but he is BEEFY.
  • For all his supposed dignity he also does a lot of things a normal housecat would do.
  • Really awful with any kind of technology. Hand him a smartphone and he's a grandpa.

Yu Jiang

While Wei Xiao doesn't have nearly the hatred for Yu Jiang that they do for him, they've become a big enough inconvenience for him that the feeling is definitely mutual. He doesn't see himself as deserving any blame for their past, and in fact didn't even remember them before they met again in modern times. He sees their grudge not as a serious tragedy, but as a childish whim that he's forced to indulge. While he relies on them to survive his deep sense of pride means he resents them for it, and if he had any other options he would be happy to never see them again.
