Tigris is a member of Lafayette's infamous pirate crew, the Sea Dragons. He's by far the calmest member of the crew, and generally acts as the voice of reason. His crew mates generally listen to him, seeing as he's usually right. He's easily annoyed by his comrades' shenanigans, but wouldn't trade them for the world. 

He has a son named Rhine from a one-night stand.
