- Bi'tala is a bit narcisstic and full of himself, trying to look cooler and tougher than he really is.
- Once you get to know him though, Bi'tala actually shows his true colors, being a caring and respectful person.
- Bi'tala is still trying to unlearn some of the more toxic traits of his upbringing. While not intentional, Bi'tala may occasionally say something out of line or downright rude, not realizing that it's uncouth. He's open to being educated otherwise though and will profusely apologize for the offense should something like that occur.
- He is very loyal and protective, going to great lengths to ensure those around him don't come to harm, even at risk of his own injury.
- Bi'tala is fairly flirty, but is not used to being flirted with back. He tends to become flustered at genuine compliments.
- Backstory:
- Born B'tala Tia, Bi'tala descends from the Boar Miq'ote clan. Located near Ala Mhigo, the Boar clan inherited many of the traits that the nearby city-state, including their reverence of Rhalgr, the Destroyer, and bedtime stories of the "Crimson Duelists" that resisted the tyranny of the mad king, Theodric.
- Following the fall of Ala Mhigo to the Garleans, the Boar clan quickly found itself as the next target, set to be consumed due to its proximity to the city-state. In order to ensure the survival of his people, Bi'tala's father, B'Masna Nunh, orchestrated an evacuation effort for all the women and children.
- In order to ensure the survival of her children, Bi'tala's mom, B'yandih Jhida, separated them. She sent Bi'tala's sister, away on a pirate ship, while taking Bi'tala with her by land to Gridania.
- Between attacks from the Garlean Empire and the Ixal tribes, many did not survive the venture to Gridania, with Bi'tala and B'yandih being among the few survivors. Once they arrived there, they settled well, forming a small clan out of those that remained.
- Bi'tala grew up as any tia would, groomed to potentially become the next Nunh, even if there was none for him to fight. This resulted in him developing something of a self-centered personality.
- Five years prior to present day, B'yandih disappeared, with no one seeming able to remember her outside of Bi'tala. Fearing that his mother had abandoned him due to his lack of strength, Bi'tala began to train with the lancer's guild a bit before setting out to Limsa Lominsa in order to locate the other remnants of the Boar Clan, including his own sister, B'runi.
- Ultimately wishing to become a Nunh, but not wanting to dishonor his father's legacy, Bi'tala changed his name from B'tala Tia to Bi'tala Nunh, and is currently attempting to form a "Bi clan".

- General Notes:
- B'Yandih Jhida was one of the Warriors of Light that perished during the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Bi'tala was unaware of this fact and of his mother's fate until Post-ARR.
- The Dragoon Soul Stone in his posession once belonged to his mother. He found it in the ruins of Dalamud.
- Bi'tala has heterochromia. His right eye is yellow, his left eye is purple.
- During the escape from Ul'dah in Post-ARR, Bi'tala loses his right leg.
