Summary
Malach is a wizard struggling to find her true place in the world. She's suffered much hardship in her life, but allowing other people to love her has stoked her passion to do good as a Champion of the Sky.
Appearance
Very much an "ice queen" type, Malach stand at about 5'11" and has a very lithe frame. She holds herself with good and proud posture, her delicate face often resting in quite a dour expression. She wears very muted and monochromatic colours, often very fancy clothes, and wears multiple rings on her fingers. Her lightning bolt shaped horns are well maintained, polished, and tipped with silver caps. She often wears makeup and paints her claws.
Personality
When you first meet her, Malach can be quiet, mysterious and even intimidating. However, under the surface she is incredibly soft and loving, and even likes to have fun. Malach will often put on a front that she doesn't enjoy things, but occasionally lets her happiness seep through the cracks, just enough so those around her know she's happy.

Story
Malach was born to a noble horse-breeding family in Appelby called the Rosenkins, who were horrified at her devilish appearance. Malach suffered a lot of negligence and emotional abuse growing up for her tiefling heritage, being a shy and withdrawn child. Being the youngest of five, she was often picked on by her older sisters, but her oldest sibling, Ellie, came to her rescue whenever she could. The two were incredibly close, but one day Ellie was killed in a tragic horse and cart accident in the fields. Malach was crushed, and soon began to fall into the deep pit of necromancy. Her parents wanted a powerful wizard in their grasp, noting Malach's knack for knowledge and magic, and hired her a tutor who began taking her through the basics of evocation, while the tiefling secretly studied necromancy through any tomes and books on the topic she could find. Upon her 19th birthday, Malach found herself unable to live in her home anymore, and set out to greener pastures, soon finding Sky Island. She joined their ranks, becoming an incredibly powerful wizard in the process- though her inexperience with socialising meant she often hurt people where she went. Malach has been on a journey of self-improvement and embracing kindness and vulnerability, and is now a treasured friend to many.
Relationships
Xera
Xera was one of the first people Malach had met when coming to Sky Island, and for the tiefling, it was (almost) love at first sight. The two have had some difficulties caused by Malach herself, but after a few years of improvement, they've become quite close, and it seems feelings may have developed between the two once more.
Mara
Mara quite early on became something of a sibling figure to Malach. The two met when Mara asked an interesting question regarding the size of one of Malach's friends private parts, but they actually hit it off very well once Mara realised how vulnerable and lonely the tiefling was. Over time, their relationship developed from just close friends to sibling-like, and now Mara is the first person Malach will seek for life and relationship advice, and to generally gossip about people with.
Paeri
Paeri was one of Malach's first friends on the island, and one she didn't treat well at first. She used her mroe or less, but as time went on Malach gained an appreciation for her, and nowadays is happy to tag along with her and giving her plenty of gifts every bithday and Candlenights.
Elikireth
Malach thought Elikireth was kind of a pushover at first, and he is, but after realising they were so similar, she became protective of him. Obsessively so, projecting a lot of unhealthy feelings on him. This led to multiple points where the two nearly fell out, until Malach got her shit together. The two are normal best friends now, with Malach doing her best to look after him when he needs it, knowing he would do the same for her.
