Pili Alkmin's Literatures

Charlii has always been one of my more complex characters and has a number of mental and physical conditions. If I were to define it, I would say he suffers with some level of depression and lingering grief over his wife's death, which are aggravated by his cracked soulstone. Logically, I realized that at some point Charlii would need to talk to his Kilden about his medical condition, which would be a serious but important conversation.

After torturing these poor characters for the sake of a Halloween event, I decided to make a true story beat explaining the nightmares the family went through!

When I first created Charlii he was written as a recluse, a man burning both ends of the candle and struggling to stay afloat. This story arc broke him out of his grief and allowed him to heal. Now, he proudly accepts the role of Father and loves his Kilden. They are the light that brings hope and warmth into his world!

This arc was written as a series of short stories accompanied by an art piece each.
