Some say the beach is haunted. After all, there's SO many reports of shrieking, rolling heads, and badly sung rock songs along the coast! Well, they aren't wrong- Antonio IS a ghost who just happens to like hard rock, and just happens to be able to take off his head.
Once the best mate of the feared pirate, the Gravedigger, Antonio was hanged by his own crew in mutiny, and now roams the earth as a ghostly pirate. While he should be haunting ships and killing sailors, Antonio rather hang out with his mermaid friend, Nessie, and take naps on rocks near the shore. Antonio is everyone's Dad Friend™- he makes bad jokes, has a deep laugh, wears Hawaiian shirts, and is always there when someone needs a shoulder to cry on (Evets abuses this). No one ever gets old of his pirate lingo- they all like being called laddie and lassie!
Being a ghost comes with some powers, of course! Antonio can possess others, take off his head, and turn into a thin sheet of 'paper' and ride the wind. He usually does these things to prank or mess with people- anything for a good joke or laugh!
A bit of a romantic, Antonio can't help but fall in love with every girl who looks at him the right way, and he'll try and flirt his way into their hearts (he is usually unsuccessful). His heart, however, belongs to his old pirate captain, the Gravedigger. She is, after all, the reason he's a lingering ghost.

Evets
[ Friend ] Evets is a nervous wreck, but that's okay with Antonio! Working to help the man calm down when he can, Antonio is pretty good friends with Evets and the two see each other on a regular basis. Even if Evets is a bit quiet compared to Antonio, it doesn't make them any less comfortable around one another.
The Gravedigger
[ Former Captain ] Antonio's brave captain for years, Antonio never looked up to anymore more than he did Mary, the Gravedigger. Joining her crew after his ship was raided, Antonio quickly adapted to the pirate life and obeyed Mary's command. She was strong, brave, intelligent... fearless. Of course he felt romantic feelings for her, but of course they were nothing but best friends... Kinda. Either way, Antonio spends his afterlife looking for his captain, to give her what she's looking for.
