Physical Appearance

• Medium-length white hair; turns black after receiving his broach
  • If he goes without his broach for a long period of time, it will change back to white
• Mahogany eyes; turns red after receiving his broach

• Fair skinned on the pale side
• Somewhat short to medium in height

Clothing Style

Skyler tends to dress primarily in black, often with red and/or white accents. His style is a blend of formal and edgy, and he rarely dresses too casually in public. He most frequently wears dress shirts with some kind of jacket, or no shirt with a jacket if not in a situation that would require it. The tattoo on his stomach and the scars on his chest sometimes hurt when he comes into contact with certain things, so he prefers to keep them uncovered if possible since it tends to hurt less if nothing is touching them. He only ever wears full length pants, usually black, and tends to wear either black dress shoes or boots. For accessories he often wears a black leather studded choker and black gloves.

Personality

Skyler is a quiet and contemplative young man with transcendent sight into the future and beyond even his own understanding. First impressions of him tend to depict him as very polite and eloquent, even poetic, with his words when he seldom speaks. Since he was born blind, his other senses are heightened, and he is very observant of his surroundings through sound, smell, and vibrations. He also has a sense for the auras of others and any subtle disruptions in a spiritual sense, although he sometimes has trouble clearly identifying these feelings. He can come off as a little skittish in unfamiliar environments, but for the most part he seems very level headed and almost deadpan when interacting with others. Skyler is not particularly expressive and doesn't go into emotional extremes very often unless under an extreme amount of stress. Most people who know him from his younger years consider him to be rather mature and well spoken for his age. After receiving his broach, he gains temporary sight when its powers are activated, and its clear that he is fascinated with watching other things and people with his new sense. He does tend to stare off into space when speaking to others even when he does have sight, and he doesn't have much sense for making eye contact with others and sometimes struggles with accurately reading other people's body language.

Due to a lot of physical and mental trauma in his past, he has suffered quite a bit of memory loss and alteration and has trouble remembering things at time. He very often has headaches or migraines when small bits of his memory return to him from various reminders, although he has trouble retaining it at times and sometimes suffers from mild short-term memory loss. Along with being physically weak, he is rather sensitive to spiritual energies and the auras of others, although his personal resolve couldn't be stronger. Skyler at times can be frustrated with his struggles to accomplish his goals since his weak body and sensitive mind tend to hold him back. He also suffers from illness quite often from a weak immune system, and even simple colds can leave him bedridden for long periods of time. He's very sensitive to environmental changes around him such as climate change, various pollen, or pollution in the air. Despite this, he doesn't like to worry others or be a burden.

With his closest friends, Skyler tends to maintain his eloquent manner of speech, but it's obvious his words are laced with teasing sarcasm. He comes off as rather sassy without being all that expressive about it, yet it is clear at his core that he has much admiration toward his circle. Since he is the youngest of the group and also very fragile compared to the rest of them, Skyler tends to get a bit coddled or overprotected by his friends. He doesn't particularly mind though and only responds to it with his usual evenly-toned sass. Skyler's poetic side tends to come out more when interacting with Anatola though, and he knows very well how vicious she can get with anyone who threatens him. He is utterly loyal to her cause and does all he can to assist her in any way he can.
