The artic eatery is a restaurant in Windwall and unlike most of the other places, there is actually reasonably priced. Due to their actual affordable prices, they are constantly looking for extra help to cook, serve or entertain their customers. Although they don't pay too much for the day you will leave with a meal and possibly a recipe or two for your troubles.

The Artic eatery was founded by Alopex Appert a number of years ago. He used to be a cook in one of the town's high-cost restaurants but had a hard time seeing poor Animalian having to go hungry because they couldn't afford the food in Windwall. After a few years, he couldn't take it anymore and he left the old restaurant and opened his own. It doesn't make much money, but it is often full of Animalian who are grateful for a warm place where they can afford to eat and relax. If an Animalian finds that they still can't afford a meal in the Artic Eatery Alopex will offer to give them food in exchange for a bit of help around the restaurant be it cleaning dishes, helping to cook, or singing songs for guests.
Every now and then his old employer and their friends will come into the Artic Eatery and critically rip the place apart. They point out every flaw, make fun of the Animalian eating there and criticize the dishes. When this happens Alopex the cook tries to take it on the chin and get them to leave, but once they are gone he is left alone with his thoughts and without some words of encouragement from the servers there he would likely become frozen with doubt, fear and depression.

The building itself is a bit worn down and is in need of some repairs but both inside and out are always spotless (mostly due to the assortment of Animalian doing odd jobs around the place). Stepping inside the glass double doors you enter a large room with light grey walls and a rich brown floor. A number of tables and chairs run down the center of the room and against both walls giving more spaces for guests to sit. Hanging from the ceiling are some lights that appear as if they are large pinecones and radiate a rich yellow light. Sitting in the center of each wooden table is a small set of candles that flicker whenever the front door opens. (a example of what it kind of looks like).

What is the hot items on the menu for this swanky place you ask?

Deep-fried Hydrurga , it is a cheap meat, but Alopex knows just how to cook it to make it melt in your mouth.

and for dessert, if you have been a good guest the cook may come out and give you a complimentary ice cream sandwich. (he especially loves giving them to kids.)
