Okay I know I already said something about his armor in another comment but man is it good. I love the types of armor people come up with their OCs and Antares' strikes such a nice medium of being sturdy and practical whilst also striking the all-important cool factor. I could go on and on there but also the way you've written and defined his personality is very engaging. It's both funny yet also interesting when a character is a "villain" with massive air quotes lol. He still operates by a code against oppressive actors and stands up for folks who are under threat from those actors. That puts him in a way different league than your classical supervillain. His status as an antagonist is relative to other characters; to some he's a freedom fighter. But he just embraces the former. I love his, 'alright you want a supervillain, YA GOT ONE!' vibe.
Of course, the energy is a wonderful veil for his past. is fraught with actions that have left him remorseful and feeling as though he failed in his capacity as a sibling. Like you said in his bio, he mellowed out, but that doesn't mean the past has just been erased. It's clear to see what transpired back then that has motivated him in the present. Just all-around great character-writing here!
