EQ is one of the residents from Mt. MoRay. He's an old rival of Fifi as they were always competing in musical contests. EQ had access to Biv City when he was a kid but after an incident where he attacked Fifi, he lost access permanently, and this has left a strong grudge in him.
Because of his fights with Fifi, nowadays EQ isn't a very friendly eel towards the crab pals and sees them as possible food. He hangs with Turret's group but he prefers doing his own thing, minding his own business most of the time.
