Valerie is a yume known for being a mean girl. She's standoffish, and will mouth off if given the oppotunity to do so. Valerie does show care to yumes she likes, but many find that hard to believe. Though even Val's way of showing her enjoyment of others can be a bit strange.
Valerie's nightmares are as dark as her attitude, quite literally. The nightmares that Val makes leave humans trapped in the dark, surrounded by nothing they can see. This terror she causes does bring Valerie some enjoyment.

Valerie is a mean girl to put it simply. She is rude and standoffish to most yumes, and if a yume wants for whatever reason to befriend Valerie she have to let her come to them. Val does show care towards her friends, but it's in a more straightforward and blunt way that can still be seen as rude by some.
Valerie is the definition of defiant. If anybody tries to tell her what to do they will be met with back-talk and defiance from Val. She is not a fan of any authority except the gods, and even then she definitely favors Tsukoyomi. Val greatly dislikes having to keep her mouth shut, and as such will speak whatever crosses her mind.
Valerie actually likes to scare other yumes with her attitude from time to time, if she's not scaring them with scary pranks that is. Val loves all things horror, and she incorporates that into any tricks she feels like pulling on others.
Horrifying is how Valerie would describe her nightmares she makes. These nightmares are dark, in a literal sense. Humans find themselves trapped in complete darkness. Sometimes Val leaves it at that, and lets the loss of sight bring the terror, and other times she'll throw creatures into the darkness to ramp up that fear. The terror Val creates in these humans brings her joy.
Valerie greatly dislikes being forced into interacting with others, she has to be the one to initiate or she has to want to interact with whoever. Otherwise she will literally just leave the situation rather than deal with any awkwardness. And if you are the unlucky one who drags Val into one of these situations you should expect some rude words from her afterwards.
