Profile

Jack is a California native and that much is clear from the simple fact that he's probably as comfortable there than he could be anywhere else. Jack grew up on the outskirts of San Diego and while the early years were a little difficult for his parents as they tried to figure out how best to provide everything for him, plan for his future, and keep the here and now as best as it could be? They managed to succeed. At least they did after they moved.

Moving to a new, smaller town, Jack was quick to make friends with people like Tara and Maxx. Folks who are still good buddies even to today. Adding another in the form of a girl named Alex who, while not exactly in the most grounded home life, managed to click with Jack well enough that the two stayed in near constant communication between her moves. The four of them grew up alongside each other and soon Jack found something of a connection in Tara and found they both felt the same way about the same thing; themselves. Supporting and uplifting each other through recognizing, accepting, coming out, and transitioning, the two found in each other a support network that continues to this day.

Soon enough, school was out, for a bit and the choice of what to do with his life came up. A choice that Jack couldn't answer. Nothing seemed to speak out to him. No career spoke to him in a way that made him focus in on a single subject at college and truth be told he still hasn't found his purpose. However that doesn't mean Jack is completely aimless. He has found one thing that makes him happy, and while it might sound obtuse that thing was, making himself happy. Tabletop gaming, cosplay, conventions, dating, and friends have proven to be the biggest things that give him something to look forward to and inspire him. Whether it be getting in costume to go to his local adventurer's league game or simply hanging around and having movie night with the same friends he's had as long as he can remember? Jack is perfectly fine with that. He can deal with the occasional snarky comment from people questioning or talking down his lack of finding something to do with his life. He has and that reason only needs to matter to him.
