Val

Val was the only child of a high-standing family in the late 17th century. While adventurous when he was younger, his family encouraged him to settle down and arranged for him to marry the daughter of another wealthy family. Unhappy with their engagement, his fiancée tried to off him through occult means, accidentally cursing him to be a vampire as a result. Through a series of vampire-related incidents, he acquired his family’s manor, where he holed himself away for two centuries.

When Percy shows up on his doorstep asking to stay the night, he lets him stay for as long as he wants hoping to have an easy way to feed, but quickly finds himself enamored with Percy’s experiments and excitable nature.
