Anthony Gromow

Anthony was born an only child is an old-time household. His parents didn't know how technology works and refused to adapt to it - Anthony along with it has to take the consequence of it all. His father practically decided Anthony's life from the very beginning. He wanted his son to go to university, earn a degree and find a highly respected job for him to partake in. When his father grew ill, his mother could no longer financially sustain for him, so she gave him up to his uncle, who is the exact opposite of his father. His uncle Oscar is a carefree and open-minded person, who was more than happy to let Anthony have all the fun he wants. This gave Anthony the energy to learn all kinds of talents at once like speaking multiple languages and sports, while also continuing his old-fashioned hobbies as his uncle sees great potential in keeping those skills as well. However as an consequence, Anthony gets more and more burnt out each time by keeping up with all of his new hobbies piling on top - but that didn't stop him anyway. He wanted to learn more and more, his curiousity never seemed to have an end. At one of his tennis courses, he encountered a foreign boy named André, whom he had a very intense match with. The two very quickly became friends and André becomes a sort of guide to Anthony when it comes to social interactions and learning how to handle people his age. Basically questions Anthony was too embarrassed to ask his uncle for. At his school, when Anthony was 14, he started to develop a crush on one of his newcomer classmates named Aurelia. Due to him being socially anxious and André being his only friend, he didn't know what those new feelings were and how to confront them. After confession, he had no idea that he would be dealing with a clingy control freak. Anthony was regretting his decision of ever asking her out and falls back to the routine his father pushed into his head. This continued all the way until he was 19, learning that his parents even arranged his own appartment for his time at university. He wasn't excited at all, but learning that the appartment was located in the exact same city where André was born in, lifted off a huge weight off his back. Without further hesitation, he moved into his new home, full with enthusiasm this time. While on a trip with André through his hometown, Anthony discovers a crowd of people surrounding two women, in one he took a particular interest in. Her name was Elena, as she introduced herself to him and André while her sister was busy dealing with paparazzi. They chatted for a little bit before they had to part ways. Something about Elena made Anthony very fond of her, but he doubted he'll ever see her again. André, being the buddy that he is, encourages him and gives him advice on how he should approach her again in the future. What Anthony wasn't expecting is to see Elena weeks later at the same university he was attending. It was the perfect time to him to talk to her again.. by using André's technique. After realising for many attemps that it didn't work, he crosses paths with a tall girl named Anastasia, who was trying to draw by the window. He unintentionally scared her off, but started to feel a little uneasy whenever he saw her. Later on he noticed he was having these feelings again, but for Anastasia this time. But he this time didn't want to be too heisty, so he instead tried to befriend Anastasia. This made Anastasia assume he wanted to go out with her, so the hiccup caused them to date. The romantic moves Anastasia was trying to tell Anthony made even him think, that she wanted to be serious with him. However the relationship was going way too fast for them as Anthony felt as he was being led on by Anastasia but didn't want to make it hard on her, whereas Anastasia was starting to see him more as a friend she wants to be closer to. When her father found out about their relationship, this was the final nail in the coffin for them, so Anastasia's father forced him to never see her again. Elena comes into the picture after trying to communicate with Anastasia first with no success. This was a good time for them to properly talk about their miscommunication and start out as friends. Anthony overtime felt delighted that he finally found a girl, who he considers one of his best friends, which helped him understand women a lot more. Things however come to a halt as he slowly starts to develop actual feelings for Elena, which overwhelmed the hell out of him. On top of that, Elena was going through the exact same thing, so now they felt awkward to each other and end up in many awkward situations whenever the two were alone. André was the witness of everything and tried his best to help his friend out. It didn't stop there, Anthony came to terms that Elena was the only girl he had developed both romantic and intimate feelings for, which made things worse for his anxiety. Things do come more and more clear the more they talk in private. Timothy's house party for their second semester was the perfect time for both of them. The fun times had to come to an end as a drunken fight broke out where Elena was injured, causing Anthony to fight once more after many years. After this incident, he promised to Elena to always protect her and be by her side, always improving the relationship along the way.
